am damn confident that Pikachu would give Crono a run for his money in
1vs1, let alone Magus being in it. People sure love underestimating

this looks like it's gonna be one of those head-scratcher results
indeed, as I still have a hard time buying Blue > Red. It'll be hard
for Blue to validate this performance, though, as while he's virtually
guaranteed a bye into next round (sorry yo, hope my sig is consolation
enough), Pikachu/Sora/Blue is perhaps the best setup Sora could have
possibly asked for. --- sig |
it's a nice feeling to get on a good run of picks in this division after getting killed on all the debatable matches early on. freaking groose the only thing i've had wrong in 24 matches --- Leafs / Raptors / Blue Jays / TFC / Argos / Tottenham We'll get 'em next year. |

The most beautiful thing about this match is that it can be used to calculate how it would go 1vs1 95% of Wolf voters would vote for Fox over Blue if it was a 1vs1 match,I simply can't see someone having the opinion of Wolf>Blue>Fox as far as favorite characters go |
Anyway, let's look at the big Pokemon R2 matches and see how our perceptions may change after this: Mewtwo/Vincent/Phoenix - Mewtwo will get tons more support now. Might even be the favorite heading in? Dante/Squirtle/Zidane - Squirtle just became the big favorite. Crono/Pikachu/Magus - Pikachu was already the favorite, but this has cemented (like freakin' drowned it in cement). Zelda/Lightning/Charizard - Charizard was already the favorite. Bigger favorite now. Achromatic posted... Also I think people need to calm down a bit and remember that this is very much an SFF result. Pokemon trumps Fox and yeah. I am not afraid of Pokemon because of this result. I feel like this is an underrated argument. For the most part this voter base is the same people and this seems like a sort of Mario/Samus result where the Nintendo hierarchy, while maybe making Fox stronger indirectly, shifts toward Pokemon in a direct match. Of course this is just me still tryina cling to Crono > Pikachu so yeah. --- Die young and save yourself. Brace for the G's, and fast heel-toe work. |

overreaction. You are literally taking an SFF match and making it have
far more reaching consequences than it deserves. Pokemon is not a
complete hivemind, as evidenced by Jiggly. Charizard granted, Pikachu
due to SFF yes, but Squirtle **** no and Mewtwo only if Vincent sucks a

Mewtwo/Vincent/Phoenix - Mewtwo will get tons more support now. Might even be the favorite heading in? Watch Phoenix Wright pull off BFF (Board Fanbase Factor) and make Mewtwo look like a complete joke en route to a match with Vincent. You know it's happening! Also I am not convinced this changes anything yet. Need time to process that there could be such a gigantic disparity between Rival and MC...in favor of the Rival. That crunk just makes no sense to me. |

could've at least been losing some votes to Lloyd due to both being
Nintendo RPGs. Crono didn't exactly look too amazing to me and his
opponents seemed weaker though I don't know contest stats. Kerrigan lost
