it would be awesome to see a Link/Batman bonus match, some people would
be against that idea because it would spoil Batman's strength before he

Unfortunately
I'm only getting +2 on this match. I went Yoshimitsu - NO PICK - Lu Bu
because I wasn't even feeling that confident Lu Bu would be #3 here.
Beats -6 though! I guess Lu Bu could theoretically take #1 though. I like Yoshimitsu though cause he seems to be winning in most of Europe pretty decisively. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

for Drake, I still feel confident he can get the job done this time.
But he fools me every time he's in the contest. I don't get him at all. 3
well received games, both critically and by fans alike, and he is a

Groose must be lost and cannot find this fabled wheelhouse...since Zelda pretty much is the wheelhouse defining franchise! Also I have no faith in either Drake or Pac-Man. Ulti's opinion of post-2003 Zelda was always going to veer off the
rails since he doesn't like Ocarina of Time nearly as much as its
critical praise shows. And for what it's worth, Skyward Sword is generally considered to be one of the weaker games in the series nowadays. Two fairly major YouTube countdown artists posted a review of Skyward Sword recently going into all its flaws (however, both of them have the same favorite Zelda and it's...Wind Waker. Commence the Ulti rant! It's pointless to defend against anyone who says that post-N64 Zelda is crap. Sure, there are quite a few people like that on this board, but it's ENTIRELY to counteract the massive popularity of those games. Never mind that Ulti's not particularly big on Ocarina of Time anyway - this definitely affects his view of the series. My top three are Wind Waker, Majora's Mask, and Ocarina of Time, with Twilight Princess not too far behind and A Link to the Past quite a fair ways behind. My understanding is that most of the "post-N64 Zelda sucks" people just didn't like it when their series' open-world structure started to get phased out, which is fine. Everyone looks for something different in their games. Me, personally, I find LTTP to be pretty bland in comparison to the other four Zeldas I've played, but then again I'm generally focused on what makes a game unique and/or special and that leads me to liking lots of games that get a noticeable amount of hate (e.g. I'm a huge fan of Super Mario Sunshine and Metroid: Other M). This division's a killer. Great job, SB...and terrible job, my bracket. I've suspected for awhile LoZ:SS did so well in the 2011-GotY due to its reputation from people who didn't play it, much like what it looks like happened with Xenoblade. I'd expect something similar with Super Mario Galaxy 2, too -- really, any big game on the Wii after SSBB and probably Mario Kart Wii had a higher support-to-playership ratio than normal. This might be the best example of blind Nintendo-support we have. For all of the Wii's sales, how many people played the Wii regularly after 2008? Groose isn't exactly the best measuring stick, but losing to Yoshimitsu and Lu Bu supports the idea. I mean dear lord I still haven't heard a good argument for or against certain characters for the Lee Everett v. Meat Boy v. Mr. Game & Watch. I still am absolutely flabbergasted that Groose can't break 28% in a match on ZeldaFAQs.
On a site where Link is probably still going to blow the doors off of
whoever's in the finals with him while Mario is tugging at his skirt, he
can't find a third of the site to carry a Skyward Sword character over
two other characters who likely have sub-50% name recognition? I mean my goodness I would have taken, like, Tetra to obliterate this match. Mido. Navi. what --- sig |

Yoshimitsu is pretty well known. Even people who don't play Tekken or
Soul Calibur might know who he is. I'd also argue that over 50% of the
