Well yes, if the rat makes it to Cloud/Snake (which very well could happen) that's much worse for Snake than Sora and Crono. Cloud is the underdog to Snake if Crono is there, but still has a shot. Very hard to see him beating Snake if Sora is there though. My understanding is that Dynasty Warriors Lu Bu is more or less Lu Bu in name only, and is not really the same as the actual historical person. Same with Dracula. He's Dracula in the sense that the character is inspired by the Bram Stoker one, but he's pretty clearly not the same character as the Bram Stoker one I haven't played Civ or ACIII, but if the George Washington in those games is supposed to be the same George Washington that lived, I can understand him being excluded. --- "What's the matter with bootblacking? LOLContests posted... I haven't played Civ or ACIII, but if the George Washington in those games is supposed to be the same George Washington that lived, I can understand him being excluded. Even with that aspect, Washington has a loophole within AC3: the Tyranny of King George DLC, which is about an Apple of Eden-generated illusionary reality where... well, its title speaks for itself. |

The
one thing that'll kill so many gurus in this division is this notion
that newer characters have any sort of strength. So far, new characters
have by and large disappointed. Elizabeth disappointed against Poison.
Booker lost in embarrassing fashion. Clementine didn't really impress
all too much against the likes of Spyro. And now, Groose is not only
losing, but he's almost dead set to end this match of weaklings in last
place. This all but spells out bad things for Lee Everett. His chances have literally downgraded from a slim shot to a razor-thin sliver of hope. I don't see Nathan Drake being hurt by this, though. Nathan, like Ezio and Shepard, have been around for a while and have had the benefit of having multiple hits under their belts. I think he'll be fine. --- Drop it to the floor... |

Also, on top of that, throw the Xenoblades cast in that list of new characters flat out failing. Dunbar and Reyn have performed horrendously. Shulk wasn't that much more impressive considering some people actually thought he had a shot at having real strength. --- Drop it to the floor... |

of his name value, and I think Allen realizes that and won't let him in.
Characters like Lu Bu and Dracula are a bit different, since their
presence in video games is more established and their name draw is

Barkley
I would be closer to saying alright to, mostly because this site in
general doesn't care about sports. But the other problem is that any
votes Barkley gets are probably not going to be because of Gaiden, so
what votes he does get are inflated. You have characters like Dracula
(who is highly based off a book character) and Gilgamesh (who borrows
the name and VERY vague concepts from a mythological character) then Lu
Bu (again a distortion, and most people are not going to be familiar
with historical Lu Bu... in fact while that page is the #1 google
result, just about every other result is DW). These are okay in my
opinion, but a line has to be drawn. Clearly he doesn't mind creating
lines for whatever reason he thinks is justified, since he will not
allow Dark Link and all. Trying to get characters like Barkley and Washington in just so we can test their name value isn't a good idea. In fact, it's just turrible. --- Still smilin' :> |
