Wohoo 1st on the leaderboard. Gloating now because after the next match I wont be there. I have no idea why I picked Booker. I had Gilgamesh and then changed to Booker at the last minute. It was a stupid decision then and looking at it now with gamefaqs completely hating anything remotely new this contest there's no way in hell Booker is going to win.

Next few matches are so hard to predict. Here are mine;

Booker
Groose
G&W
Drake
Blue

What does everyone else have? I'm feeling semi confident in Groose, G&W and Blue and expecting to lose out on Booker and Drake with nostalgia-faqs in full overdrive. It was a good run though.

The thing that concerns me with Groose is his terrible ass picture. It's way to zoomed out and his expression doesn't match up with his personality from the game. If he had a close up "troll" Groose picture then he wins easily imo. eh he probably still wins because Zelda.

Blue got the best possible picture. He's in the middle with a Gary Oak pic and Fox and Wolf looking extremely similar on the sides. If he cant win that then he's useless.

Realistically, what would probably happen is Allen would claim is that they're not "fictional characters" and we'll all be annoyed but unable to explain to him why that's silly.

Hulk Hogan?

I'm in 14th with Booker, Groose, Game, Pac, Fox. Not really confident in any of them. I also have Vaas in division 7, but I'm pretty sure Neku is going to win that.

I think the difference is most people who have played Skyward Sword past halfway end up liking Groose whereas Tingle is useless in every game and flat out ruins the end of Wind Waker.

It also helps Groose when his opponents are going to be stupidly weak.

Booker Groose Lee Drake Fox here and i wouldn't be surprised if i missed all of them other than Groose. Groose is the only one of those i currently have picked for the expert.

This. I would legit take Tingle over Yoshimitsu too. Let's take a moment to remember how well Jigglypuff did and how easily the voteins called her performance.

Which match? Groose/Yoshimitsu/Lu Bu? Yeah, probably. I wouldn't take her to win by more than 60% though. She's baaaaaaad.

I think Nightmare easily beats Yoshimitsu and look how well he did in his match =/

This, pretty much. I like Yoshimitsu as much as anyone (and he got a godlike pic aww yeah) but he's probably gonna get Groosed unless something really funky happens.

Dynasty Warrios 8 just came out and it's top message board on PS3. It's not much but might be enough to put him over Yoshimitsu.

Lu Bu beating Yoshimitsu is a no brainer, the dynasty warrior/Rotk fanbase cares a lot more about Lu Bu than Tekken fanbase gives a f*** about Yoshimitsu.

Why would the match pics remove your confidence in Blue? He got the best pic possible for him. If he got the HG/SS pic then it would be a worry

Booker > Gilgamesh > Kaim

Mr. Game & Watch > Lee > Meat Boy
Drake > Pac-Man > Steve
Fox > Blue > Wolf

I feel very confident on the middle three. Fox should be a stronger than Blue (who's weaker than Red) by a decent amount, so hopefully Wolf isn't worth much and he can eek out a victory. Booker/Gilgamesh is a risky call, but I don't think Gilgamesh is very strong. He's probably among the weakest FF characters in the bracket. I'd probably take him over Boko, but maybe not any of the others.

I have Booker/Groose/G&W/Drake/Bue

I'm only really worried about Booker, and to a lesser extent Drake.

Big Daddy losing to Lloyd was sad
However Big Daddy is a Bioshock 1/2 character,and doesn't appear in infinte
So I have no idea what the strength of the main character of the most recent game in the series is supposed to be
Stronger than Big Daddy I believe...

Remind me again why Blue is supposed to have any strength at all? Human Poke characters never do well. Besides, RED barely beat Ocelot and that's WITH Smash? Who actually liked your rival in that game anyways? This will be brutal. Fox would get at least 70% 1vs1
