Unlike Magus in relation to Crono in terms of taste, Wolf should
be crushed by Fox; it will be very disappointing if he is not
obliterated. That *should* allow Fox to get through was my rationale, as
long as he doesn't get judo flipped by Blue on the Nintendo SFF pecking

SFF is well documented, heck even the 2004 Crono/Magus SFF doesn't look
as bad once you take into account Magus was weaker. Mega Man 65/35

don't think we can predict how bad the SFF will be until the match
happens. Different fanbases have different priorities. Who knows how the
Star Fox/Nintendo fanbase feels about Wolf as a whole? Same with Magus! We haven't seen him in a match with Crono. For all we know he'll hold up better than Ganondorf did against Link. --- ~Zen |

Make no mistake, looking at Jade's percentage here, this performance sucks. I dunno part of me just felt that Wolf should be able to hold up well enough on Fox to let Blue sneak by. At the very least he's arguably the best RPG character in the contest. There aren't many Tales of characters in the contest anyways. Given that Xenoblade has 3, I don't think Tales getting 4 is that terrible. Especially since all 4 Tales characters would probably beat any of the Xenoblade trio. |

I sure hope Crono 80/20s Magus. Crono did 79/21 Kefka way back in the
day, and Kefka probably beats Magus now. Plus Crono has more reason to

many Tales characters and we can't get Mark Hamill voiced Majima into
the contest, I thought this site was filled with japanophiles but they

Yeah
failing to triple Jade is pathetic, but Jade could have gotten a small
boost in power(not that it means much) from the new people who played

Is there any indication that a character getting weaker also means he will get SFF'd much harder? Crono already put 70/30 on Magus I dunno but I don't think that it's only Magus that got weaker..many people care less about Crono Trigger so when they see Magus they prefer to other character,but when Crono VS Magus happens that the fanbase 70/30 split will be the same? |

It *should* actually be more severe, although it's been nine years since that match so the Crono/Magus split may very well have changed radically since then. Magus is almost assured to get SFFed harder than he normally would, though. Unless Pikachu is never even close to being in the match (which would be really pathetic for him), CT voters who would normally have voted for Magus will start voting for Crono to try and save him. --- sig |
