Infinite probably being GotY so far and appearing in Playstation

I heard that in one of Infinite's first trailers, a Big Daddy figurine was crushed at the beginning to mark the change in setting. Alternatively, maybe people just don't want to vote for a random enemy character, although considering Slime's performance that doesn't really make sense. Big Daddy is pretty much the Slime of BioShock. Probably just a decline after BioShock 2 got so much retroactive backlash? we've seen Ryu Hayabusa crap the bed after his last major game was
poorly-received, and Big Daddy is doing the same after his last major

I switched to Magus, but this match... this match. I will never be happy whoever I pick, but I just can't shake the feeling that Magus should win this. I'm on a two-in-a-row bad choice streak though so I'm bracing for tragedy. Kind of interested in what the expert leaderboard does. Full pick? Bank? Partial bank because Jade is free points? It
could also be a case of...what some of us expected to happen to Altair,
now that the BioShock series has (largely?) left Rapture. So Altair still has the same strength level as last contest in spite of being supplanted in his series hierarchy, while Big Daddy dropped a lot...although BioShock 2 backlash probably helps. Honestly,
I'm surprised Big Daddy was ever that popular. I know I know, mascot
and all, but the Bioshock series has some really good characters and for
some reason we latched onto the one essentially characterless thing
that I've never seen anyone really care about. Andrew Ryan should be in

Big Daddy was just... very, very overrated. I know that, but this is just way too much. This is like arguing Magus was ever worth 35% on Link - everyone in his pack was overrated, and it showed. Same thing with Big Daddy, Ness is just not strong enough to beat the people he's projected to in the last contest. Pikachu is literally scoring about what Link would on Big Daddy. This kind of thing never happens, Link is so far ahead of the rest of the field that even with variance and crazy performances it never gets that out of hand. For a midcard like Pika to be matching the performance of the #1 contest character says it all to me. Overrating happens, too. --- sig |

Daddy probably overperformed on Tifa since it came straight after
Seph/Missingno, and Seph/Tifa was written down as an overperformance as

It's weird that Captain Falcon of all people failed to stall a comeback while Ike and Lloyd have. Alucard did it in a supposedly "bad" time period too which makes it look worse. |
Magus
was worth 35% on Link because he got 35% on Link, bro. The following
contest he beat the ever living **** out of Luca in a way only strong
characters can before losing to Crono. People lose strength sometimes.
Like, you can't tell me he isn't worth 35% on Link when he actually got
