Big
Daddy's averaging around 40 votes per update the past few updates. For
comparison, Alucard was pulling in 70 per update during this time. So
Big Daddy has less votes to work with than Alucard, but a comeback is

Match XLVIII: (9) Magus vs. (10) Hal “Otacon” Emmerich vs. (19) Jade Curtiss Previous Contest Magus – 2010 41.48% against Alucard Hal “Otacon” Emmerich – N/A N/A Jade Curtiss – 2008 5.92% against Zack Fair, Wario and Cecil Harvey Analysis Time has not been kind to Magus, even ignoring his wacky 2003 performance he has slowly gone from being equal with Knuckles to losing handily to Alucard. The board has been burned by him so many times now that it is understandable why we are wary of taking him over anyone with some form of strength. So far Frog and Crono have looked decent, but Magus always seems to be the one to drop in strength more than those two. The major issue for this match is that Otacon’s range is quite large and depending if he is on the high or low end it will make the difference between winning and losing. Outside of Solid Snake Otacon probably has the most screen time in the series so you could make the case of him being one of the strongest in the series, but at the same time his personality is not as great as the other characters we have seen in this contest. Jade is one of the weakest characters to have reached multiple contests and given he has had nothing since we last saw him I expect him to continue that tradition. Yuri Lowell did look a bit impressive earlier this round so it is possible that Jade will perform better, but Jade has already been given two chances to prove himself and he has failed in both. I do not see Otacon being any stronger than Ocelot or The Boss, but that may be enough to win this match.
