Yeah but we can't just arbitrarily throw around "third place factor" when we clearly don't understand it. Reyn had even less reason to get "third place factor'd" than Shulk because Reyn stood out more.

And I would expect Altair to fall off a bit in Round 2. He always does better in Round 1 because he gets a full body shot that shows off the Assassin duds, which is all anyone cares about in regards to Altair. In the face round, he'll probably get weaker, just like the other years.

Reyn's probably just really weak. I would've thought him to be 2nd-strongest pre-contest but the fact that he got a way lower seed than Shulk or Dunban probably tells the story.
