Does
anyone else think that Ratchet may put the fear of god in Gurus
tomorrow? I truly think he can come out and win (hell, win with
breathing room at that). Consider: - Ratchet scored a very impressive 44% on Jecht in 2010. His last contest showing was easily his best looking. - He has some definite "Stand Out Factor" in his favor. - Sony mascots have looked significantly better than we expected. - LITERALLY FINISHED AHEAD OF ALTAIR IN THE 2010 X-STATS (granted, Altair was behind Link/Sonic SFF, but I still have to bring it up cuz I think this is the first time I've ever used the 2010 stats and it made me laugh) However, here's the biggest point, one I don't think anyone else has brought up: Our 2010 contest took place just a couple of months after Assassin's Creed II was released. Back then, the series only had two games under its belt, meaning Altair was just as big a part of the series as Ezio (if not bigger since he was the only main character for two years). Heck, there were probably people who got them confused and assumed that Altair was still the lead character or at least had some sort of presence in both games. Fast forward 3.5 years and tack o few more AC games, and Ezio is clearly the top dog. I'm not sure if Altair has had any sort of AC presence since 2007, and the voters will probably realize that. He is in line for a significant strength drop. I'm very, VERY strongly considered taking Ratchet for the Oracle/Expert upset. --- http://i.imgur.com/a4GuDV3.gif |

Ike's
been stalling like that for a while now. Generally after that, Protoman
has a big update. If he has one this next time, it isn't over. If Ike

Hell I disagreed with him about Falcon/Alucard but I'm not ashamed to admit he was right about Falcon's disappointing morning vote. the required votes per update goes about 25, its officially over.

Man just let the lead get too big. If he'd kept it around 300 at a
maximum he'd likely have been able to reel Ike in. As for Ike.. well, he
lucked out. He had everything going in his favour and Proto Man just
ran short of votes to cut with. Talk about looking bad in victory. Heck,

Altair tomorrow. I'm consider going with the upset too. Something's off
with that guy. He 60/40's Liquid in 2010 then comes back with a
25-seed? I think his problem is two-fold - firstly that Ezio is the "AC
guy" now, through and through, cooler and newer, and secondly his series
just isn't the hot stuff it was back in 2010 - bit of sequelitis going
on there. Ratchet has always looked (to me) decidedly stronger than
Crash and Jak, and they both did fine. Ratchet's 44% on Jecht puts him
at something in the high 40s on Phoenix Wright in 2010. If this was
Phoenix/Altair/Shulk, I think a lot of people would be calling for the
