Kefka is known for having a strong board vote, as far as Final Fantasy goes. Kefka is one of the few exceptions to this rule. I wouldn't expect Locke to have the same board vote that Kefka has, only because you have CATS and Ness in the match.

Old Square's board vote? I may be rusty on this but I don't remember old Square having a bad board vote.

Actually this is the second time this has happened this contest. We lost one -1 and no perfects on Sephiroth's match as well.

Cecil had 47.45% against Knuckles at the freeze and ended the match with 48.00%.

Squall's notable feats:

-60-40'ing Luigi in 2003 (now that would probably be more like 55-45)
-SFFing Tidus in 2006
-Breaking 40% on Steroid Snake in 2006
-Coming close to beating Sonic twice in 2007
-60-40'ing Yoshi in 2008
-Narrow win over Auron in 2010
-Breaking 40% on Steroid Snake again in 2010

Auron's notable feats:

-Uh, does murdering Scorpion more easily than expected in 2004 count?
-Getting 45% on Crono in 2006, albeit a weakening Crono
-Destroying all of his R1/R2 competition in 2007 including the likes of Ryu and Bowser, coming close to beating Ryu when SFFd by Cloud in R3 (however, I feel that this was more his competition being weaker than expected)
-Beating Sonic with surprising ease in 2008, then beating Kratos the next round while being SFFd by Sephiroth

Pretty clear who has the more impressive contest history. I'll also throw in Vincent for show:

-Proving Kerrigan is fodder in 2005
-Narrowly upsetting Squall in 2005, followed by 45% on the eventual runner-up
-Narrowly upsetting Ganondorf in 2006, followed by putting 47% on Sonic
-Narrowly upsetting Crono in 2007 after beating Zelda far more easily than expected in R1

Honestly, with Vincent I just throw out the first three results since that's when we still didn't really know how strong he was. Or at least that's my rationale for the "Vincent has never done anything impressive in these contests aside from upsetting Crono in lol 4-ways" idea earlier.

Blue's strength or lack of it doesn't really mean anything for Pikachu. Pokemon is about the Pokemon. It's nice if the human characters do well but it shouldn't be surprising if they completely drop the ball.

I doubt Poison is nearly as strong as Big Daddy. The original Bioshock would easily beat Infinite in a poll. We're winding down this generation (actually, we've been winding it down for like two years) and the characters and games who'll end it (Elizabeth, Infinite) won't be as strong as the ones who began it (Big Daddy, Bioshock).

I feel like Poison would be a character to benefit from not being known to get votes based on pic (and yes because of TJF).

Generally the people who do know about her would also know about her whole censorship thing where Capcom made her a man, and that could weird out a lot of people.
