Snake
had his chance in 2008 and 2010 and he blew it. He is the biggest choke
artist in these contests and I'm surprised that he has as much support

Oh
if Snake wins that would pay almost all of the bad taste back in one
go. His win over Sephiroth was one of the all-time great contest
moments, but basically cancelled out when he lost to an even worse

Seeing
Garrus gaining 7% from the freeze here against a Mortal Kombat
character makes me wonder just how much Mordin will gain against Epona.

Match XVIII: (7) Bowser vs. (12) Archer vs. (21) Meta Knight Previous Contest Bowser – 2010 63.22% against Frog 61.68% against Kefka 54.70% against Sora 45.27% against Charizard Archer – N/A N/A Meta Knight – 2010 34.30% against Luigi Analysis Meta Knight cannot catch a break; this is his fourth Mario character he has been up against in his contest career. Who is next, Yoshi? I have never been a fan of SFF matches unless the winner is in doubt and while a big fan favourite Meta Knight is not going to get anywhere close to Bowser. Still his performance against Luigi does show he is capable of resisting SFF quite well and I would expect to see a similar result. Bowser is one of the strongest characters in the bracket and is considered to have a slight chance of winning the entire division. We will not know Bowser’s true strength due to SFF and Archer being a new character, but anything less than a convincing win will not do. Despite benefitting from SFF Archer will still likely finish in last. The vote-in where he made an appearance only got him 5% and after you consider Fate/Stay Night fans are loyal it is not hard to see why he is expected to be weak. I do not see him dropping to the levels of Caim and Chester, but at the same time he will not finish too high in the stats. Depending on how much Bowser is able to SFF Meta Knight we could see him fail to break 50% or fly over 60% without too much trouble. Literally having a meltdown over Garrus losing. At least you could've picked a better match to whine about. And even pre 2006, Snake never was a choke artist. Sure, he had some embarrassing matches, but he never actually lost them like Donkey Kong or Magus would. Guys I have a feeling that the "Snake is a choke artist" idea was not serious at all. At least I can be glad that I'm a huge Zelda fan (though Wind Waker is my favorite, uh oh). I don't care for Pokemon either (watched a review of Pokemon Black/White and it just didn't look like something I'd get into), but even otherwise most of my problem lies in a lot of stuff I'm a big fan of not performing very well. And even that's probably not true. At the very least, I definitely have it much better than you guys. Though seeing Zelda go beast still sickens me a bit since I get the feeling that that series' fans are kinda dronish. Same with Brawl. The good news is that it does not prevent me from being a huge fan of those games. Male Shepard > Garrus > Female Shepard...Aeris is probably in trouble as long as Shepard gets his traditional pic. Mordin's not worrying me yet about Epona though. Shep is the main character, he's the one on the covers, he's the one in commercials, etc. I've been disagreeing with people who've called his/her Round 1 performance "poor." Shep got a bad picture and still managed 54% in a poll with a character that was clearly serving as a Nintendo magnet, albeit a weak one. With a traditional Male Shep pic, he may have pushed for the high 50s against competition that could have been stronger than Yoshi's (Yoshi scored 60%).
