Who is this guy who just broke Tanner's record for poorest performance in contest history? He's the star of a game of the same name created by a Board 8 member. You should play it. You can pick it up on Desura, and I think it's still on Xbox Live's horrible Indie service. It's pretty damn good, so play it and tell your friends to try it out. It deserves more exposure than a horrible contest performance.

SFF (Same Fanbase Factor) - Same Fanbase Factor is the theory that, if two contestants share a common fanbase, the weaker of the two options will underperform in a direct matchup. For instance, Link was expected to defeat Ganon with 65% of the vote in 2004, based on their 2003 values. Instead, Link collected near 88% of the vote. This is the best example of SFF we've ever seen. However take some SFF labels with a grain of salt, as many people will slap it onto any match that doesn't make perfect sense.

Extrapolated Standings - The mathematical "strength" of a contestant that's determined based on their performance relative to the rest of the field. This number is typically based on the contest entrant's loss, but adjustments are sometimes made. See above for a watered down explanation for how the stats are calculated.

TF2 is a PC game, and characters from those have never done well, even as established as the TF2 characters are.

A member ever since 2003 (and i'm pretty sure I participated in the 2003 character battle,maybe in different user)
And this is my first time ever in some kind of leaderboard!!

Reimu almost did in a match she was expected to get nowhere near that mark in fairness. There were a couple of matches with 2nd place below 20% as well.

Otherwise there's no way I can imagine Heavy being fodder.

Boss is performing like a boss in this. 45% is pretty good.

I'm surprised Heavy got in over Spy, actually. Heavy doesn't seem to be nearly as well-liked as Spy, and I think their 2010 results reflect that.

I just feel that unlike other characters that only have a 1 REAL big appearance The Boss is one of those characters where her role was just so memorable, you can't really "forget" why you like her which I guess is the case for characters who decline

I think I'm the only person who didn't like The Boss when playing through MGS3. Then again I barely liked anyone in that game as everything was so melodramatic and Kojima-infected.
