Match XII: (9) Professor Layton vs. (10) Barret Wallace vs. (19) Reimu Hakurei Previous Contest Professor Layton 2010 31.21% against Isaac Barret Wallace N/A N/A Reimu Hakurei N/A N/A Analysis The winner of the Nomination Rally Tournament makes his appearance in the contest. When I was younger I always though Barret Wallace was one of the strongest outside of Cloud and Sephiroth, but the board seem to think otherwise. Regardless of where he ranks among the Final Fantasy VII cast he should automatically have decent strength and given the opponents he could push for one of the largest blowouts of the contest. It is amazing that characters like Layton could be favoured to finish ahead of someone. Isaac is not exactly a powerhouse yet he was able to double Layton in 2010. It is difficult to place him in second, but at the same time I have no faith in Reimu. Reimu is the first of three Touhou characters and she will give us an insight to whether the trio are very low fodder or if they are in contention of being the weakest characters in the entire bracket. I feel that their small, but loyal fanbase will prevent them from being the worst characters. The key word for Reimu is small and I think she will struggle to break 10% in the match. Barret on the other hand could be in the 60s given how weak these guys are. know what I just realized was most impressive about Tanner? He got in
when the field was only 64 characters. It took a field nearly 6 times as large
in order for us to finally find someone who might, might, be able to
score less than 60% on Tanner. I really think it's hard to comprehend
just how completely awful Tanner's performance was. |

we're talking about Layton here, the same character who got 70-30 by
