Match XI: (6) Lucina vs. (13) Dracula vs. (22) Caim Previous Contest Lucina N/A N/A Dracula N/A N/A Caim N/A N/A Analysis While SBAllen has not allowed full representation of fictional characters he has allowed characters based on fictional characters so guys like Dracula and Hades are now able to participate in this contest. It is not Batman, but it is a start as he is slowly widening his acceptance. Dracula is getting hyped to have similar strength as Alucard which is possible. Dracula has appeared in almost every single Castlevania game and in a match like this name recognition due to books and other media would possibly give him a boost. I personally do not believe he will be as strong as Alucard because he is a fan favourite in the series while Dracula is more of a final boss with some background story. Either way Dracula should have no problem winning this match and then losing in the second round. Lucina should be stronger than Tharja and while she was able to win her match that was due to the weakness of her opponents. She was lucky enough to have Caim in her match, one of the few characters where I had no idea about the character or the game that he is from. Maybe it is because I have no idea about the game, but I feel Caim has the potential of being one of the weakest characters in the contest. I assume Caim made the contest due to hype about Drakengard 3, but considering a character only needed between 10-15 nominations to make the contest I feel the hype will not help him avoid getting crushed. Johnny Cage was one of the most popular arcade characters. He was also by far the most liked character from the first movie (the non-sucky one). Though beyond Sub-Zero and Scorpion, you likely have a cluster of characters at a similar strength level, Cage being one of them. Raiden and Reptile would also be in that cluster. Dracula
could probably get 80% on Caim alone. If you've got him breaking 80%
against both of them, I hope you're entertaining Dracula > Sonic next

Caim is getting 15% or less IMO. Not sure about Lucina. She could get mid 20's to upper 30's. Sorozone posted... Raiden would easily by the third strongest MK character, than probably Reptile followed by Cage. I don't think it would be "easily"...if Raiden is stronger it would be very marginally. Tonight will be a good test to see if fictional characters are actually worth anything. I'd love to see Lucina win this though. |

specific version of Dracula. For another, I don't think if we were
coming up with our "Noble Nine of Fictional Characters," anyone would

Probably not, but if he can't do a big number against a Fire Emblem character, thats not a very good sign for fictional character potential in the future. If he doubles Lucina or something though that'll be a good sign for them. |

feel like it's worth pointing out that as much as lol GameSpot contest,
Dracula completely bombed there and Vader/Joker could have very well

there ANY difficult picks in this division? I mean the only ones you
could even remotely say are not givens are Phoenix and The Boss and even
then I think it's pretty clear that at least The Boss will win fairly
