I'd
say this performance gives Ryu almost no chance beat MMX. Jigglypuff
is definitely stronger than Yuri, although Welkin is weaker than Face

In general, Pokemon get lousy nomination support. Even post-Brawl Charizard failed to make CB7. If a Pokemon as strong as Charizard had trouble, Jigglypuff was never going to get in with a nomination rally or a massively increase bracket size. Jigglypuff just needs to compare favourably to Yuri Lowell to make X look good for beating Ryu. I think Lucario in '08 might be a decent comparison for Jigglypuff, though 'puff might be a bit stronger from being from RBY. Probably not that far off from Yuri, and Welkin seems to be terrible.
