Lopen posted... I said basically 0, ngirl. As in, they might be gaining a vote or two every update but yeah. Draven's up ~120 from his normal intake and Jak/Chie aren't up by any noticeable amount. I don't think that's happened in any legitimate rally before. Usually all entrants increase a little and the rallied one increases a lot more. I put that down to the fact that the opponents are Chie and Jak as opposed to anyone being rallied would ever give a f*** about. --- NGirl@work or on phone. |

if Draven got as much as 90% of rallied votes you'd still notice it in
Jak/Chie's votes, though. I mean yeah they're fodder but yeah just not

it's like when the WoW/SMB rally had people voting for Mario in droves
because it was f***ing Mario. If he opponent there was Adventure or an
obscure Wonderswan game how many of the rallied votes does WoW hold

This is seriously the funniest sentiment I've seen expressed in any contest in years. I'm trying to think of a more overhyped character we've had since, like, 2003 when we had stuff like "Luigi is a major threat to Samus." Can't think of one. This isn't "just" rallying. It's concentrated poll tampering. It's not like somebody got a couple hundred people to swing around and try to tip a match in the favor of their favorite character. They literally changed the recorded voting trends for this entire contest by pulling this crap. From here on out, the numbers of every character that has a direct match with Draven will be statistical anomalies and completely useless for study and dissection for future matches. It also sets a precedent for rallying. What's the point in even entering these contests if a well-placed rally can turn a turbofodder character into a high-midcarder? I
think Draven probably finishes around 39% because I expect the rally to
continue for the reminder of this match. Draven's percentage gains
have slowed down lately. Also, the last 3 updates have been 50% or less

It's kind of sad that Chie is more likely to get successfully comeback-rallied than Draven is. Good call, Ulti. Also, I voted right when I got off work at 4:30. Jak was still winning and Draven was still losing to Chie. Quite a shock to see this when I get home! The only times I've ever even bothered talking to you is when you tried running those FFRPG games, then ended up falling off the face of the earth like a freaking chump, leaving me and the rest of your players hanging out to dry. It's a rare day when literally Kanzaris has to step forward to call someone out and lay the smackdown, yeah. On the plus side, if he's gone, nothing of value will be lost! On a different, more interesting note since Draven Being Over is a confirmed thing, can I throw something out? I think Teemo is not gonna do as well. Sure, his competition is way stronger to begin with, but I feel like Teemo is like Jak in a way. Liked, but not well-liked. There's too many jokes in the league community about his existence begin a global taunt, and wanting him gone or dead or something of the sort. Why do you non-League guys (and actually, my fellow summoners as well) think he's gonna do better? |
