Draven only has the lead in 6 US states - California, Oregon, Hawaii, Minnesota, Delaware, and Rhode Island.

3 of those states have the advantage of being being at least 3 hours (or more) behind the east coast. Which means the rallies started before 1:00 AM in California, Oregon, and Hawaii, giving those states plenty of time to vote before going to sleep.

Seriously, if Draven reaches Link, a huge bandwagon will probably build up after defeating MMX/Ryu. With all of the concern regarding vote totals in the contests, this is exactly what we need to really bring more people to the site for the first time and boost our userbase (and our non-contest vote totals).

Rallied Draven seems to be worth about 70% against Jak. Jak is fodder but I don't think it's THAT far from what Megaman X or Ryu would manage on him(unfortunately I don't think Jak has had any fair 1 vs 1 matches against a really popular character to say for sure. Yoshi was a bad match up, obviously)

I mean, he would have to be rallied from start to finish to stay in the game and he'd definitely be the underdog, but it's not IMPOSSIBLE. You'd have to bank on the momentum from winning a match to increase his rallying though

Whew. We did it. I can't believe it worked, but we did it. Didn't I tell you guys that Draven had rally potential? Didn't I repeatedly say he could do it? And now me and the boys did it. I had such little faith when we put the first two topics up, but it ballooned from there and WE DID IT! It wasn't even our work past the first few either, except for the cheerleading posts. But yeah I think the biggest red flag here is that Jak and Chie's votes have not gone up at all

Especially when the majority of the posts in the official League of Legends board have been saying "I'm voting for Jak screw Draven" (paraphrased). Don't care enough to go look at reddit but yeah you really have to question it at this point.

He has been steadily rising in the US, but the percentages haven't moved much. I'm thinking this is mainly due to reddit with the Euro's and Aussies.

No. DOTA 2 is a crappy bandwagoner, the result of a company with too much money on their hands trying to ride RIOT's gravy train without understanding just how hard they worked to get there, and a game that just won't die and go away because too many people are stuck in the past and too groggy to change. League is, if you'll excuse the pun, LEAGUES beyond DOTA. And you're seeing how now. You'd never get Traxex or Chen or Tiny or Leoric or whoever I don't give a **** rallied this way, because effort matters. Being real matters. Becoming more than a game, an experience matters. This is why Draven is winning now, and I know I just took the bait but I don't care. GO DRAVEN!
