In October 2011 Index reported that Catherine was already over 500k worldwide, with more than 200k coming from America.

But lol its obscure.

Established in that more people on this site have played a Farcry game than Catherine or TWEWY combined.

As far as a I can tell, TWEWY has the highest play rate.

Catherine does about as well as Far Cry 2 and TWEWY crushes the other two combined.

GotY polls need more perspective than this, but that's still not enough to say "established series" considering the other 4/5 polls where it's absolute trash. It still contrasts heavily with what you originally claimed.

63 (5, 21, 37)
98 (25, 26, 47)
43 (5, 13, 25)

and 15 votes currently. that's how irrelevant Japan is.

Well, I wanted to figure out the number of votes from Japan for a poll that has occurred in the past. I used this year's age poll to figure out the number of votes from Japan, because the age poll had ridiculous vote totals for a non-contest poll. Also, because this contest will probably average over 50000 votes in the 24-hour matches.

http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/5097

Number of votes from certain countries in the age poll:

Canada - Somewhere around 5400 votes (too time consuming to calculate this)
United Kingdom - Between 3800 and 4200 votes (too time consuming to calculate this)
Australia - 1275
Netherlands - 830
Brazil - 703
Mexico - 617
Sweden - 604
Finland - 470
Germany - 458
Norway - 376
Philippines - 362
Italy - 335
Denmark - 316
France - 308
Portugal - 298
Spain - 276
New Zealand - 242
Poland - 230
Belgium - 230
Indonesia - 227
Malaysia - 217
Russia - 217
Ireland - 171
Japan - 146
India - 63
China - 54
South Korea - 53

The topic was started at 3:57 AM, right before the hour where Tiny Tina easily ripped into the lead.

It's possible that you are not a native born citizen of Japan, as I have possible evidence that a good number of votes from Japan are coming from people who were not originally born in Japan. These 2 polls have some weird results from Japan:
