Not
to sound conceited, but I never understood why people thought Tharja
was going to lose. This site is still JRPG Central, especially when a
gigantic series that everyone loves like Fire Emblem is involved. As
much as western gaming has advanced compared to the Japanese
counterparts, that never has or will translate to character strength in
character battles on this site, unless the "gamer nerds" also hop on
board like they did with Mass Effect or Portal. No one cared about
Lollipop Chainsaw for more than 5 minutes. I waffled on this match a
lot, but it was for 2nd/3rd place due to Borderlands 2 winning GOTY,
never 1st place. Never a doubt in my mind Tharja would win this. Oh, and this exact logic is why I picked Catherine to win her match. Juliet
simply had almost nothing to bring into this match apart from her
design, and her design advantage is very heavily neutralized in a match
with two other females. I didn't gauge Tina correctly, but at least it
means I can gain three points later from picking Face McShooty over
