Yay, Slime made it in. Going to be fun to see how it does against Lara Croft.

TIngle is going to set a record low lol. Link could get close to 90% in that match.

Seedings are crazy. Two 23 seeds are going to win, a 24 might win, and multiple 25s have a good shot.

Fox even with Sub-Zero?

Hell no.

You'd be surprised! Their stats are consistent with one singular Fox dip in '08 from '06 onwards. And with that exception aside, the result is always the same: narrow Fox win. Surprising I know, but if you think about it it makes sense. Fox should be at around Captain Falcon's level, maybe a little higher or lower, and I'd certainly pick Falcon to beat Subby.

XD I'll take wins over 2006 Master Chief and Tidus over wins over 4th tier Nintendo characters and obscure Fails characters. And to Fox being equal to Falcon, might wanna look at this:

http://board8.wikia.com/wiki/Banjo_vs_Captain_Falcon_vs_Fox_McCloud_vs_Wario_2007

Cute that you're using SFF laden 4ways results over, y'know, '10 matches, like beating Riku or doing reasonably well against Cloud. Sure is a honest argument right there.

So many good-looking matchups have been ruined by SFF. No way Fox beats Blue now with Wolf in the match; Rinoa goes from a potential winner against Hero to the 3rd-place leech allowing Hero to upset Aerith; Celes shows up to take all of the suspense out of a debatable Knuckles-Seifer matchup...and can we please see Meta Knight against a non-Nintendo character? He's probably right around the line between fodder and midcarders, but thanks to SFF, he's never performed like it.

I know it's irrelevant because of Mega Man, but am I the only one who thinks that Magikarp could be pretty damn strong for a "joke" character? He's got that Gen 1 nostalgia status and is arguably as big of a joke as Missingno. The only thing Missingno has over him is "exclusivity" to Gen 1. They're both pretty ridiculous.

I'd easily take him over L-Block/WCC, and I think he could potentially be anywhere between Brawl Red and Missingno.

Why do people think DQV Hero is going to be worth a damn again? I know silent protagonists are worth something, but it's ****ing Dragon Quest. This is a series' whose premiere game in the West got cleanly beaten by Chrono Cross. CHRONO CROSS.

Going with Pacman there because he's up against a new school character and a nobody, and Pac has proven he can beat people who don't steal his 'respect' fanbase. Gonna be close either way though.

The following characters from 2010 missed the bracket (20 in total)

Akuma
Arthas Menethil
Axel
Captain MacMillan
Captain Price
Chris Redfield
Cid Highwind
Darth Revan
Eddie Riggs
Ellis
HK-47
Jecht
Ken
Liquid Snake
Marcus Fenix
Prince of Persia
Sandal
Soap MacTavish
Spy
Vault Boy

Some of them were rallies in 2010 (Cid, Revan, Jecht, Ken, Vault Boy), others were fodder flavors of the time, I'm very surprised that no Call of Duty characters made it, Chris Redfield and Liquid Snake are characters with decent strength that failed to make it.

Overall I'm happy with the group of characters here, some match-ups could've been done better, but that's the way the contest goes.

Aerith still wins that match easily. Slime has a better chance of winning than Hero does.

If Game and Watch wins, I wonder if Drake/Pac-man could advance again due to Nintendo SFF. I also wonder about Blue's strength. It wouldn't surprise me if he was fodder and still lost to Fox. I would take Fox without a second thought if Wolf wasn't there.

what if Phoenix boosted since '10 too? He did get UMvC3 and now Dual Destinies.

I'll hand you a potential DD boost, but on the subject of MVC: You mean the guy who, after his hype died down, is universally agreed to be comptetitively the single worst character in the entire roster to the point that he's now seen as a fighting game laughingstock? Yeah, I wouldn't factor MVC in regards to Phoenix, only his own games. (Under that silly logic of mine, the guys who'd get an UMVC3 boost are his polar tier opposites, Vergil and Zero (Dr. Doom is unaccounted for obvious reasons). And perhaps Morrigan too because of ChrisG.)
