actually an interesting match, in fact. Let's assume nothing dumb
happens like Vincent getting into Amaterasu's group, so the Round 2
lineup ends up being Squall/Amaterasu/Missingno. Who ya got there? |

so if Charizard beats Mega Man/Zero we get Samus/Mario/Charizard. Given
how good Pokemon has looked in 4 ways, and I think Samus/Mario share
more of a fanbase... Mario probably still takes it. But if Mega Man was able to advance... surely he'd have a good shot. But again, it's Mario. I'm loving this bracket the more I look at it! |
I wonder if he'd do a Games contest like this sometime. It could have benefited from 200+ entrants because the field doesn't drop off into mediocrity quite as fast. Mario/Charizard also happened on HG/SS release day, iirc. There's no way Charizard stands up to that standard normally. --- I'm not a dog person, but you just can't help but like SuperNiceDog, the Guru Champion. |

L-Block was beaten handily by Kirby in its first appearance. L-Block was worth 42% on Bowser last contest, so L-Block ended up perhaps slightly weaker than when it first appeared (after accounting for pics). Things shouldn't look TOO down for MissingNo.... What are the chances ? Block will be stronger than L-Block? --- "Ah, a party! We haven't had one of those! It could be fun! So... what is a party?" "Well, you drink punch and eat CAKE! ...I think." |

I think its still too early to make predictions. Lets say someone like Captain Falcon or Donkey Kong winds up as the 19 seed in Magus's match. They would likely win, and then leech Pikachu so Crono would advance the next round. |

Although given how weak some of these high seeds are, I'm still holding out hope for a Touhou win. If one of those weak 3-seeds draws a 16-seed that LFFs them, we could actually see a 25-seed advance. And after the reveal that the bracket would have over 200 entrants, I switched from rallying the character that was easiest to unite the fanbase on to rallying my favorite; given the number of vote trades I made, a 25-seed sounds oddly plausible for Remilia.
