of "Big Boss" for this contest. I know that Naked Snake is Big Boss,

question: what would happen if you were to put, say, Alucard or Simon
Belmont against the Elebits rather than Gabriel? There's so much fodder
where real Castlevania could go and make some dents. I wouldn't be
suprised if Alucard put 96% on some of these characters. EDIT: real Castlevania not pertaining to Lords of Shadow. |

Actually yeah, it's pretty surprising that all the Castlevania reps are associated with Lords of Shadow. However, it seems that Lords is actually pretty popular despite its relatively mixed critical reception - on unikgamer, for instance, the only Castlevania games that rank higher are Castlevania, Super Castlevania IV, Symphony of the Night, Aria of Sorrow, and Order of Ecclesia (point is Lords ranks higher than the likes of Castlevania II & III, Circle of the Moon, and Dawn of Sorrow). --- Currently Playing - StarCraft: Brood War |

I just realized E3 is next week...yeesh! What are some of the expectations this year? Nintendo's bound to show us more of the Wii U, but I don't think anything's official with the next Microsoft/Sony-system right now. I
think this will be Nintendo's most important E3 so far. They have a
lot to do in order to win back the support of the hardcore gamers. The
most important thing is to reveal the system specifications, because
they need a lot of horsepower in the Wii U to be able to compete with
whatever Sony/Microsoft plans to put out for their next system. The second most important thing is giving us more information about the "Nintendo Network". Nintendo needs a good online infrastructure in order to gain the support of the hardcore gamers that have already turned to the PS3 and 360. Games for the Wii U will also be important as well. I
get a Round 2 match wrong in the Konami contest but end up moving up
from 34th to 16th place. I incorrectly had the Contra guys beating
Anubis. I've got Tir McDohl beating Zobek so I'm going to take another
hit in the second half of Round 2. Revolver Ocelot vs Liquid Snake is the first big match of the contest and is up today. I've got Ocelot winning and going deep in the contest. I just hope he doesn't choke and Liquid decides to have one of his off days. --- We'll show her the power of a dream. |

My Silent HIll fanboyism isn't paying off. Can't believe a tertiary Metal Gear character beat a Silent Hill protagonist. I have Zobek > Tir, but I think Tir has a chance considering Zobek did pisspoor against a Rumble Roses character. Going for the Liquid > Ocelot as well, but that's up in the air. This poll didn't even reach 10000 votes after 7 hours, which really says a lot about the strength of today's games. Also, even "Pokemon Conquest" is weak enough to allow a game called "Lollipop Chainsaw" to finish very closely behind it in the overall results. June is usually a bad month for games because it's also the same month that E3 happens. don't know anything about it. They did put up the Pre-E3 Show
yesterday. They might have said something in there but I haven't watched
it yet. They probably just haven't put up whatever it it yet. If they
put it up the same time they put up new matches, it could be 1 to 6
