It
didn't happen for 14 hours, though. It happened for a few hours, then
it bridged into ASV trends where Pokemon was naturally stronger. And
then into the night where Pokemon was relatively weaker but still
stronger than their mornings. Don't see what's so weird about this! And I disagree with redsox that it "rarely happens." I may be wrong but I'd like stats-- I seem to remember it happening in every lead change ever that wasn't either early in the match or wasn't huge votal swing sweep through (usually during the ASV) --- I tried to have a fierce rivalry with SuperNiceDog, but he made me look worse than a GameFAQs Contest! |
If
Link, Cloud, and Mario get the boot, I can actually see a Pokemon
entrant like Charizard winning. I'd pick Samus as the favorite, then

Just get rid of Link. Mario and Cloud are debatable enough now that the winner of a Link-less bracket isn't certain at all. Could be any of Snake, Cloud, Mario or Samus. Now is the perfect time for a standard 1v1 (maybe with 12 hour round 1) to settle the questions we've had since the 4-way trainwreck started. --- Game of the decade? depresses me that No will win this, because half the voters don't

for
x-stats, why not just assume Mario/Pokemon SFF and Cloud/Seph =
Trainers? Put Mario halfway between his raw value and adjusted based on
Cloud/Seph/Trainers and assume Link/Mario SFF = Mario/Pokemon SFF. i
don't see the need to think of it in any finer detail than that. |

match or wasn't huge votal swing sweep through (usually during the ASV) Don't have any stats, but as far as I can remember, it happens frequently, but rarely more than 1 hour, if that. It's usually not enough to significantly change the trends. And if it does, it's because there is a lot of rallying going on. The reason we get that barrier around 0 is rallying in the first place, so it wouldn't even hurt the argument that Trainers overperformed. I am still too dismayed and horrified by Cloud/Sephiroth's horrible performance against Link/Ganon and Pokemon to give too much thought to the stats though. this though, it's clear that video game characters can no longer
compete with Link, so bring on the fictional characters. Cloud getting

There's not really any evidence that they were. None of their results
point towards it. I think they were probably the same as Cloud, Link
boosted, Mario boosted a lot, Red boosted a LOT. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |
