Somehow,
even though I'm in a mood for Legend of Zelda (and Metroid - speaking
of which, how much is Samus's team projected to get on Snake's team
based off of this result?), I don't like seeing Mario vs. Link in those

15 votes, Cloud will take lead any update now. Match LXIV: (1) Mario/Bowser vs. (1) Link/Ganondorf Previous Round Mario/Bowser – 55.61% Pokemon Trainer Red/Pokemon Trainer Blue – 44.39% Link/Ganondorf – 58.26% Cloud/Sephiroth – 41.74% Analysis The third place match may have given us pause about the final, but I don’t think it is too big of a surprise that Mario is close to Link indirectly. Of course the magic word is indirectly and we could be seeing a lot of SFF here unless smart voter GameFAQs decides to step in a prevent some of the SFF. It is quite sad that Cloud and Sephiroth have dropped so much over the years. The only thing debatable about this match is whether Link will defeat Mario by more or less than what he did in the last character battle. I would like to believe that Mario will perform better because while voters have shown that they do care about the rivalry between Link and Ganondorf it does seem that the rivalry between Mario and Bowser has been much better liked. Of course this is Link we are talking about and we’ve had enough contests to know what Nintendo fans prefer. Should SFF not appear Mario and Bowser should be able to break 45% on Link and Ganondorf. I do feel that the pair will be better off than what happened to Mario in the last contest. still torn between picking a 60-69% on Link or just doing a straight
pick >_> I can't tell how well Mario is going to do. My score
sucks so I'm just trying to beat SBAllen for karma. If I do a straight
pick, then SBAllen will beat me if he does a 10% pick and gets it right.

If you assume transitivity and no SFF in the past three days (I gotta wonder how much Mario really did SFF Pokemon), then Mario should be worth in the mid-40s on Link. hit, Trainers began pulling away at speed, then stalled after 30 mins.
Cloud/Seph pulled back to parity, and it's been near-even for well over

it's amusing to see Cloud/Seph get a couple of updates in their favor,
the 3rd gives them a lead of 6-10, then Trainers come with a huge update
and a lead of 20-50. Rinse and repeat. --- - |
