From: janembaman | #128tbqh as a FFVII fan I feel kinda betrayed FFVII fans want a remake for years,they even made a tech demo to "tease" FFVII fans to make it even more annoying There is just no reason whatsoever to not remake FFVII All the previous FF games were remaked (or at least ported with improvments) and yet they don't want to do the same with FFVII It's been 5 years with no remakes (Final Fantasy Advance VI) with the exception of FFIV that was remaked twice recently I don't feel betrayed by Pokemon as the series continue to be good and they keep releasing new games that are usually good The only times I feel "betrayed" is when they announce a new game and then it's something stupid like PokePark 2 or that recently announced crossover game lol I'd feel betrayed if my series released progressively worse rehashes every 2 years to try to appeal to my OCD tendancies to "catch them all". At least FF7 has the dignity to release original sequels/prequels (even if some of them suck lol Dirge of Cerberus) --- Game of the decade? More like Guru of the decade mirite? |

Regardless
of the strange past half hour, trainers are going nowhere with this
lead. If thats the best they've got with the day vote I doubt its
enough. Or pokemon will just rally its way to a close win at the end,

Cloud coming back from this would buck every trend in the book. The
Trainers probably don't increase their lead much if at all, but they
don't need to. The SNV favors the ASV a lot these days. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

Cloud and trainers have pretty equal day votes, really. Pokemon the
games have a good day vote, but the trainers are pretty average outside
of the insane early vote. it's like Samus. most interesting part of this match: Cloud is probably winning if brackets were on the line. --- xyzzy |

If
you compare this match to the Trainers/Fighters, it is definitely
possible. This match might even have a diluted ASV, but I don't think
it has much of an effect on the projections here. Even then, the match
being close is going to get more people interested in voting here (if

Just as I thought. Pokemon will somehow hold off FF7 all day, then
win in the clutch. Dunno why people were confident in FFVII making the

There's
a cut. Cloud won the last hour by over 100 votes and the last hour and
10 minutes by 140. I don't think rallying would really start till the

trust me this board cares no matter what. FF7 isn't exactly something
that you want to rally for, you know. Phoenix's victory a couple of
years back is a good example of the sway who this board wants to win

Man, I can't believe it took until the bonus match to bust out the Tiger GIF. That tells the story of the contest right there. Also, with as frontloaded as Pokemon is and how everything goes against FFVII at the beginning, even a legit ASV probably doesn't help Pokemon out here very much. --- "Stay with me until the end. of cool to see a match not follow trends. Like I'm rooting for RBY, but
Cloud winning might be the "better" contest result because this looked

I
don't think this match has really defied trends that much. Pokemon
opened with a huge board votes, Cloud dominated the fight night vote
followed by both going roughly even during the day. However it is rare
that we see characters with such extreme trends in a match together.
That board vote was just crazy considering Cloud/Sephiroth and Red/Blue
