Once again, 100 votes in 40 minutes. Trainers are getting some stalls in, but overall they aren't slowing the rate of cutting. |

x-stats are garbage and we won't see this contest again, but from a
purely academic standpoint I'd say adjusting Link/Mario through
Cloud/Red makes perfect sense. there's nothing unusual about today's
result and it's not a match likely to be determined by SFF. --- add the c and back away iphonesience |

this match has been pretty obvious ever since Red stopped making gains.
Cloud will rock this time period and then stall the day at the very

The adjusted x-stats should be based off of this match, because there will be SFF in Link/Mario, so using this match for the adjustment makes sense because there probably wasn't any SFF in Mario/Trainers. I am pleasantly surprised the Trainers kept the lead for so long. This just goes to show you XFD dead franchise. No new game in over a decade, and the latest entry into their franchise destroyed their fanbase. The SE vote is basically dead now. --- Black: 3310-7431-2094 |

vote is not dead. FF13 was a pretty mediocre game. You can't build a
fanbase around games people hate. IF a Zelda game turned out to be
"average" then the fnbase would destroy it. Look at Other M. Can easily
happen to Zelda too(DS games though they aren't bad just noone cares
about them) The last 2 FF games are poor on this site. 13 and 12...in fact make that the last 3 games(X-2) included. If 12, 13 were highly received games( 12 was critically but not by maj. of fans) and immensely popular like VII and X....then the Square vote would be a lot stronger. It was stupidly Linear for the first 15 Hours, it gave limitations to the player, the story progression was also quite boring. The game didn't have any real content apart from the mission during the last 2 chapters. No towns, no break of pace and a story that only really made sense if you read datalogs. Characters were also stale...no true villain and pretty lame dialogue. Little to absolute not variety in gameplay. Upgrading systems were pretty basic and no real depth. collecting components early on was a waste too. Even if you enjoyed it, you can't say a game like that is flawless, it's misguided and inconsistent. They changed the direction half way through and focused too much on graphics. The best thing about 13 was the battle system and even then it wasn't perfect. It's not even close to being a good JRPG let alone a great FF game. good because if focused on characters and story more.About the
story?They are going against EVERYONE!What more you want?For side
quest?Yeah I know only missions and that is.But still I liked the linear
story.Towns?Well who cares?I mean in all towns in JRPG's you just go
there to buy stuff and maybe take some quests.That is.They tried

There's
no cohesion between the worlds...you're going from one area to the next
constantly. Pulse is the only area in the game that identifies itself.
You don't ever feel you're in the world of FF13 and just following a
long line of battles. I honestly have no problem with FF13 and JRPG's having linear Stories, but i'm talking purely gameplay Design. It was a too linear. The whole sequence of the first 10 chapters was go through a straight line and constantly fight. There's being Linear and then there's FF13.
