Eh,
fair enough. I didn't expect Samus to go 60+% on the bosses for sure,
that would be foolish. But I thought a comfortable 55/45 win was within
her reach, and it still wouldn't have been enough to give the trainers a
fight. Unless the trainers' run was an enormous fluke, this team will
look like garbage in the next round. --- This is a signature. |

Are the contest stats wrong? It says that there are 177 perfect scores, however, the leaderboard only has 12 perfect scores. --- *is chubtoad* Early to bed, early to rise, gives a man a small ***** size |

The contest stats are not wrong at all. Take a close look at this: 0E (13 alt entries) Staraptor (17 alt entries) legendmusketeer (138 alt entries) That's why there are so many perfect brackets left. Samus
getting the morning vote here? She's already gained half a percent from
her low point. These trends aren't normal for Samus, as she not good
with the morning vote or ASV. There's two parts to the trends in a match. Samus may be balanced, but MGS has a bad day-vote. It's only normal that Samus goes up now; not because she gets stronger, but because the Bosses get weaker. --- I think someone is being way, way too sensitive. I believe there should be one entry per IP.Yeah I know you can only
enter 1 prize entry but I can make 300 accounts and have every contest
perfect by making all possible combinations on debatable matches so at

Who
does everyone have for Team Alucard vs. Team Frog? I'm kind of leaning
towards Frog right now because they beat the toughest opponent either
team has faced (Chell/GlaDOS) and Alucard didn't do very well against
PW, which is a very niche series and probably weaker than both Mass

Frog/Magus
will be stronger than Phoenix/Edgeworth, but not by a whole lot (in my

There are way to many debatable matches per contest to do this I think, although admittedly this year is putting it in the realm of possibility. Even by conservative estimates, I would say there have been at least 10 debatable matches so far (I say that as if its a lot), which would mean 1024 different combinations you would have to make. If the number even increases to a still incredibly small 15 matches than you would have to make over 32000 brackets. |
Even
in this contest there were 12 matches that the gurus had less than 80%
consensus which places over 4000 brackets and then a couple of those

Easily.
I still haven't played Portal 2, but apparently it was pretty big for
GlaDOS, and given how much of the original game was explicitly about how
much GlaDOS wants to kill you, it wouldn't at all surprise me if they
benefited a lot from this format. The only thing that makes me wary of that is the mediocre performance against Ness/Giygas. Unless the Earthbound cult is stronger than I thought. --- Fight like dragons, have no fear, swords are made of STEEEEEEEEL~ |

You guys forget that Frog has Magus attached to him. Extha, setting himself up for the fall again. think Alucard will win easily. Frog's mettle hasn't been tested since
2007, and Chrono Trigger has done nothing but disappoint since the 2009
games contest. As one of the 71 battlers fortunate and stubborn enough
to make it this far, I'll be taking Alucard. Also, we've all criticized the Ulti pic (I sure did during the latest podcast PLUG), but I gotta give him some credit for being the only guy who made one. I
think the reason why Samus is weaker when paired with Ridley is because
she gets more of her strength from Smash Bros. than maybe we realize. I
think it hurt Kirby/Meta Knight as well, probably moreso than this OLD
factor Lopen keeps throwing around. When you limit their appeal, then

but disappoint since the 2009 games contest Why disappoint? CT is still quite strong on this site though considering the shift of new users and the game has very little exposure. I mean Crono/Lavos did more than 40% on Snake rival and MAgus/frog beat a portal Duo. I say CT hasn't dissapointed at all. You can't expect these franchise games/characters to display equal strength when there is nothing to advertise or make these games more relevant. I think it's harsh to say it's disapointed. That would mean some level of expectation in the first place. IMO CT's fanabse and popularity is the most amazing this about this site. Maybe,
but i don't like the Text. I actually SEMI made a pic for this match,
but ditched it. It was never going to be accepted though because it was
biased towards Bosses. I had pics from the scene from Other M where
Samus started to almost break down in Tears when Ridley showed up. . I
