they're going to humiliate the winner of Samus/Bosses even worse, too --- http://i42.tinypic.com/11jol1t.gif Oracle Challenge ~ Rank: 13th ~Today's prediction: MMX / Zero - 59.97% |
All
right. Here's a scary thought, what if instead of Red vs. Blue, we had
Charizard vs. Blastoise vs. Venusaur in the only three way rivalry. How much ass could they possibly kick? --- "Go get me Jared...from Subway!" -- CM Punk This line reserved for Rivalry Guru winner. |
From: _Regaro_ | #394 It was more of a reference to that update than this result. I'm surprisingly apathetic to this result. Only Big Boss downing Samus tomorrow can make me care about this contest again at this point. --- http://i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab48/Leonhart4/Squall.jpg |
I sacrifice your own entertainment for my own, Leon! --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |
From: PartOfYourWorld | #399 I'm already out of contention though, so go go Pokemon. Gotta bust 'em all. --- http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v712/ExTha/10and14.jpg "I was wrong." - SmartMuffin |

I'm
assuming Extha has Cloud/Seph winning. If the Trainers beat Mario and
lose to Cloud/Seph in the final, I don't think there will be many
brackets at all with that result. He could conceivably win with a wrong
semifinal pick. --- 2002 Link, 2003 Cloud, 2004 Link, 2005 Link, 2006 Link, 2008 Link, 2010 Link, 2011 Cloud. Link 6, Cloud 2 |
From: JJH777 | #381 Yes there was, this contest was about rivalries. And after the second match of the contest, when it became obvious that rivalries actually matter here, everyone else should have came over to my side that I was on once the brakcet was released. I can't believe the denial some of you live in. MY GOD. This is the gaming rivalry, nothing is close (maybe Mario Sonic), their whole story arc is rival. That is all they are. They were always going to destroy things. These 2 vs each other is RBY, Red/Ash alone is not, at all. --- From: Regaro_Ukiera | MWC is god-tier |
ZFS posted... Pokemon is one of the most baffling things. I played RBY back in the day quite a bit, but I feel like I totally missed something here. Red vs. Blue what is even special about this. To me it just felt like a JRPG without any real story that just focused on grinding. I was like 22 or 23 first time I played it though so I was already out of the target demographic I guess. --- http://raptr.com/badge/cf898f37d9c30ef120ada6c35e636ad3/fs.png http://myanimelist.net/signature/RyanSaotome.png |

Leon I would prepare to be interested just a little longer. BOSSES. --- XIII_rocks, the cream of XIII fanboyism. |
Red
suffers in a normal contest situation for many reasons. You can't give a
guy like that a Brawl pic and expect people to 'get' it. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |
From: red sox 777 | #408 Nah, I have Link > Mario in the final. I only took Pokemon to the semis. Looks like I might have undershot their strength by quite a bit. --- http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v712/ExTha/10and14.jpg "I was wrong." - SmartMuffin |

Serious question. Do we think Mario/Bowser matches this performance? Personally, I'm not sure. ZFS posted... Pokemon is one of the most baffling things. This is super revisionist history at its best. From: FateStayAlbion | #426 Considering that's what Solid Snake got on him last year, probably not. The
fighters have to be legit. Look at what Subby/Scorp just did to X/Zero

them. So either Ken/Ryu are legit or X/Zero are straight up trash. --- Demyx is better than Axel. http://www.last.fm/user/crazydom |

I'm
surprised how much the Trainers would beat X/Zero by. I mean, Red got

WOULD destroy Samus/Ridley. It wouldn't even be close. The Pokemon %
