All right. Here's a scary thought, what if instead of Red vs. Blue, we had Charizard vs. Blastoise vs. Venusaur in the only three way rivalry.

How much ass could they possibly kick?

I've only been saying this the whole time you know.

It was more of a reference to that update than this result.

I'm surprisingly apathetic to this result.

Only Big Boss downing Samus tomorrow can make me care about this contest again at this point.

Jumping the gun a little. These guys can still destroy all the brackets by actually beating Mario (and let's not pretend that'll make you happy if you're in contention!).

I'm already out of contention though, so go go Pokemon.

Gotta bust 'em all.

Red looked horrible last contest. There was no logical reason to expect this.

Yes there was, this contest was about rivalries. And after the second match of the contest, when it became obvious that rivalries actually matter here, everyone else should have came over to my side that I was on once the brakcet was released. I can't believe the denial some of you live in. MY GOD.

This is the gaming rivalry, nothing is close (maybe Mario Sonic), their whole story arc is rival. That is all they are. They were always going to destroy things. These 2 vs each other is RBY, Red/Ash alone is not, at all.

To me it just felt like a JRPG without any real story that just focused on grinding. I was like 22 or 23 first time I played it though so I was already out of the target demographic I guess.

Discounting alts, the 92% of the perfects, ~95% of the -1s and 94% of the -2s got this right. Maybe there are more alts interfering with the -1s and -2s stats since the prediction percentage falls to the mid 70s and fades quickly starting from the -3s. I'm looking forward to seeing the result the first Guru upset has on the leaderboard.

3 people fell off the Top 50. Former first place VeryInsane, Therobbieg and Regaro_Ukiera did not have Mega Man X vs. Zero winning the match.

Pokemon Trainer Red vs. Pokemon Trainer Blue – 50.00%
Ryu vs. Ken Masters – 35.17%
Fox McCloud vs. Wolf O’Donnell – 24.63%
Jim Raynor vs. Sarah Kerrigan – 23.08%
Luigi vs. Waluigi – 22.04%
Cecil Harvey vs. Golbez – 19.71%
Yuna vs. Seymour Guado – 19.25%
Ratchet vs. Dr. Nefarious – 12.92%

Ryu projected to not even break 70% on Red's side, except ~72% on Cecil.

These are about as worthless as the first division where it's projected Kirby will struggle to defeat Ike. x-stats are joke in this format.

Ryu/Ken WOULD destroy Samus/Ridley. It wouldn't even be close. The Pokemon % against Samus is going to be ridiculous, maybe the most ridiculous percentage we've ever seen, considering who's gonna be on the ass end of it. It might be at Luigi/Waluigi's level. Samus may get a large chunk of her support from Poke-haters who are sick of this result.
