think?I mean there are around 13.5 hours left.But if that happens that
would be awesome.Okay now for the division final I thought Squall would
do it but now I don't know.Since it seems that he will face Sora and
both are RPG's I believe that...Okay I don't know.Squall is stronger
than Sora 1 vs 1 that is for sure,but Seifer is really weak.So I guess
it might happen the same as in this match,I mean Sora winning but
barely.What do you think?Also this match will be the 4th one that Dante

least it's close. KH is way more popular than DMC on this site, that's a
fact. I'm just glad everyone outside of America actually has good

after this contest, do we all petition Bacon to have the next character
contest allow ALL characters that have appeared in any video game,
ever? Actually, have there been any non-fictional people/things in video games that would have any sort of contest strength? Allowing all characters, period, would open the door for non-fictional characters, too. --- Yay - Black Turtle is the guru champion of awesomeness. |

Glad
to see Dante at least took the lead. Day vote hasn't been too poweful

got a 447 vote lead before the night vote. Dante/Vergil got 51 votes
ahead right at the end of the night. Sora/Riku seem to be getting

still wins here. I don't think there are any parts of the day left that
Dante should win convincingly. Maybe he'll cut a few votes during SNV

Riku
is clearly a step above Vergil and the KH series is way stronger than
the DMC series. If anything, this result makes Sora look real bad, not
Dante. (Dante probably would win against Sora effortlessly in a 1vs1
contest, 53/47 or something) |

seeing as Sora hasn't increased his percentage in almost 2 hours, and
it's 1 PM on the east coast now, he might be finished with percentage
increases. But probably not with vote lead increases for another few
hours at least, and I can't see how Dante can actually cut away those

that's an unusual update. day vote doesn't go away until like 6:30 on weekends, or at least I haven't noticed it being unusual this contest. I don't really pay attention to boring doublings though so maybe something has changed. --- xyzzy |

is early compared to 8 for weekdays (and the ASV doesn't really finish
off until more like 10 PM). Over the years I've noticed the weekend day
has ended later and later actually. A long time ago, Zelda's day vote
against Final Fantasy would be very strong in the morning from about 8
AM to 1 PM, and fade off sharply after 1 PM. Nowadays, nothing seems to
be able to actually start gaining before 9 AM, and the afternoon

The
day vote rush is more or less over, but that just means Sora should
steadily increase. SNV will be interesting to see, Europe is asleep,

don't think Dante can do it there is just no time frame for him to
dominate anymore. His best bet was during the deep night when few votes
were coming from the US. Still pretty impressive performance , I always
find it strange how much stronger Dante is than his games. --- ... |

This
is a perfect performance from Sora. He gets the W, but not impressively
enough to make next round's choice of support ambiguous. It's similar
to Frog's win, and because of it, I'll now be risking everything up
until our first semifinal match, and maybe through the whole contest.
I'm sure a lot of other perfects share my thinking, though. As for Dante, poor guy is now unarguably the biggest choker ever. At least Donkey Kong and Chief have won debated matches before (DK took one this contest!). I'm not sure if Dante had any support against Ryu in 2003, but if so, this makes at least four pissed away opportunities to truly break through. Dante's
not the biggest choker ever. You're right that DK and Chief have
victories, so I think the title goes to Magus. Yes, he beat Ganondorf
and amazed against Link, but that was 8 years ago, and he's had nonstop
