by the way I'd say about now is when we're getting a voting trend
shift. Mostly because vote totals on the updates are going up for both
sides. During that stall it wasn't really overall votes going up as

main reason I still think Dante/Vergil have a chance is the geo-trends.
Sora/Riku are losing every major region but the US pretty comfortably.
Canada in particular is interesting because it has the same time zones
we do and doesn't have any real release issues. The US is the main
region I'd assume to be influenced by bracket voting since we're
eligible for prizes, which matters more in a low votal contest. Dante vs Axel had Canada favoring Dante by about 3% more than the US-- a far cry from the 6% we're currently seeing. Once bracket votes disperse even more the US may very well normalize a lot closer to 50% than it is now-- one could assume it'd even favor Dante at this point if not for bracket voting. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

A couple of things wrong with this reasoning, namely first that Sora/Riku's percentage in the US is going up. Second, there are not that many brackets left that have an actual shot at winning. Thirdly, even in this group (maybe a 2-3000 brackets) Sora/Dante is probably split pretty evenly anyway. It' not like Sora's going to be a huge bracket favorite or anything. However I'd still expect Sora to narrowly win the day vote, to declare Dante favourite I'd want to see a lead of 250-300ish or upwards. as it stands it could wind up being a 50/50 game for most the day, slightly favouring Dante now and slightly favouring Sora later. really suck these days. Here we have a match that is almost 50-50, but
I'm not excited at all. Trends mean this one's over. I wish we didn't
have as much knowledge about trends as we do. When all is ssaid and
