were never going to beat Cloud/Seph (as I keep reminding people), but
do people think this match is worth anything? Snake barely put up 55% on
Pikachu (and Pikachu, who put up 61% on Shepard, is not good) and then
went out and clobbered Seph before losing in a close one to Cloud.
Snakes had a pretty distinct pic disadvantage against Crono as well, but
at least that's a valid barometer if you actually want something to

I'm thinking the Snakes are probably just weak. Mostly because I think
the primary measure for rivalry quality voters are using is age and
number of appearances, rather than actually giving a crap about the
rivalry. Also because I see no reason why Crono/Lavos should be strong.

There
really aren't pockets of Pac support here, not to the point that it
actually matters in contest matches (and Pac gets killed by the board
vote all the time). It's more logical to posit that B8 has a
colorfulness bias. Or in this case, a color bias. Snakes
are going to overperform next round and either win, threaten to win, or
look damn respectable. This is all picture factor and general
ridiculousness here. I like Solid way more than any of the other three
entrants and still feel like voting Pac-Man for no other reason than
sticking it to these INSANE people who think this art is a good
