claiming Kratos/Zeus aren't getting massively SFF'd on the basis of
non-same series and different consoles are looking at the SFF far too
one dimensionally. Beyond something obvious like Samus, which is a
character that is made by the same company as Mario, look to Nintendo v.
Mega Man matches. Mega Man characters of all sorts get absolutely
destroyed in matches with Link and Mario due to sharing the same systems
for so many years. I don't think Link or Mario particularly over performed on Mega Man the last time they faced. Kratos and Cloud's connection is much weaker than even Mario and Mega Man's. Mario and Mega Man are in the same genre and were on the same console at the same time. Cloud and Kratos's games came out nearly a decade apart on different consoles (by the same company) and are complete different genres. --- Pokemon VGC2011 US Nationals - 54th place Pokemon VGC2012 NW Regional - 16th place |
