From: BK_Sheikah00 | #247 I'm weird I guess. I don't care for Pikachu but love Jesse/James/Brock/Ash. I wish I could have substituted Ash for Red, but that might have really been too much. In any case, Jesse and James are the only iffy things about that pic, since both Brock and Misty were first featured in the video game. I can do another one substituting the cartoon's Team Rocket for the game's. Samus/Ridley
managing a doubling would be solid. I think Terra/Kefka would be able
to give Fox/Wolf a good fight if not outright win. Sure, Fox almost
certainly beats both, but FF6 crushes any game Wolf is in sans Brawl,
and between OLD FACTOR and Brawl not doing anything for anybody who
wasn't already in or in dat trailer gives me faith in the FF6 duo, plus
Dissidia duos haven't looked bad so far unless you think the Bosses are

should clarify: I don't disagree. I wish "Fighters" was part of
Ryu/Ken's name like "Trainers" are for Red/Blue, but it's evened out

The only problem I can see with that pic is that it emphasizes the characters as a team than as a rivalry. It looks like a tag team of "Trainers vs. Fighters" when obviously it's supposed to be a rivalry between two specific characters on each side. I doubt he'd accept it. |

agree. Jesse/James and Brock/Misty are not related to the Red/Blue
rivalry and shouldn't be in the picture. The same goes for the Fighters

Yeah, it just means that it is mathematically possible for you to have the best score of any guru, however unlikely. It doesn't necessarily say anything about the quality of your bracket, just that nobody has a guaranteed better bracket than you. You could be alive at this point having missed a half dozen round 1 matches and have Link losing this round and Amaterasu winning the contest, because if that did happen and everything else in your bracket panned out, and nobody else took Amaterasu to win, then you'd get the best possible score. --- http://img.imgcake.com/alec1pngus.png |

Match XXXIX: (1) Samus Aran/Ridley vs. (4) Terra Branford/Kefka Palazzo Previous Round Samus Aran/Ridley – 80.64% The Kid/The Guy – 19.36% Terra Branford/Kefka Palazzo – 78.66% Vyse/Glacian – 21.34% Analysis Two large blowouts will in turn lead to another blowout. Time has not been kind Vyse over the years and while Terra and Kefka are stronger than in the past getting tripled is still embarrassing. Samus and Ridley didn’t live up to expectations, but joke voting is always hard to predict. This will be the first test to see if Samus is capable of reaching the semi-finals or whether she should be worrying as early as next round. I know people are itching for an upset, but I’m not seeing this whole Samus will fall thing. While the rivalry isn’t top ranked it isn’t the worst either. Samus and Ridley is one of the most iconic boss fights in gaming and while they don’t say much to each other people have no problem matching the pair together. Then we have the fact that Samus is among the strongest characters in the bracket while last year suggested that Ridley isn’t as weak as we once thought. Terra and Kefka came a long way to reach their current strength, but even then they are nowhere near the strength of Samus and given that their rivalry is expected to be weaker than Samus and Ridley probably won’t help them much either. Even though they are probably stronger than Ridley the gap is too huge. Their boost from Dissidia will probably prevent them from getting crushed, but at the same time Samus and Ridley should be pushing towards 70%, especially if they want to reach the semi-finals in a comfortable fashion. contest, and it wouldn't be the first time the majority of B8 is
completely wrong about what is perceived as a good rivalry (See:
