Some
people have tried to make a case for Raiden (MK); perhaps Raiden/Kahn
would work. Personally I agree that Liu would be pretty weak because
he's just not that well liked for whatever reason. MK is a lot more
story/character driven I suppose and he was always fairly boring in the

That's
actually the reason I'm beginning to wonder if Ryu/Ken even have a
chance. Red/Blue are if nothing else a relative huge vote draw. 6000
votes between matches may not seem huge, but when the difference is one
match had 28k and the other had 34k, that's enough to make up a ton of
percent on their own. Of course, votals will be hard to recognize for this match because Thanksgiving, but based on the fact that RedBlue's was up 1600 votes at 5 AM EST and the huge difference last round, Red/Blue could have easily outdrawn Ryu/Ken even if these last two matches switched days. --- http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh293/zukiraphaera/war-sig-1.png http://i.imgur.com/FII1z.gif |

have no idea how Ryu/Ken vs. Trainers goes without the Trainers being a
vote draw, but Ryu/Ken will probably need to be 55-45 without the extra
votes to win, maybe higher if Trainers get rallied as they work on

that never made Ryu fold against other high vote drawers. He's broken
40% on multiple noble nine characters and he did well against Cloud last
year which the match had just about 1300 less votes than
Charizard/Bowser, two series with great vote draws and on the release of

It saddens me that people complain that Dan "The Man" Hibiki and the most badass character of all time finally got in a bracket. Good show from Ryu/Ken, as expected. nothing else, Ryu/Ken proved they should be a solid step above
Subz/Scorp (although most people didn't doubt this). Similar percentage

That's
not to say that high vote totals don't help, but they're not insta-win.
We disproved that being a bigger vote draw than your opponent meant you
would win a long time ago. Sonic characters have never been big vote
