think the fighters are being overestimated. I'd consider mid-60s a very
good performance (and also what they'd need to not look like the

Yeah
I'd say below 65% will probably give the match to the Trainers, 65-70
will make the match a close fight with a solid chance for either team,

wonder why you all say the same.The Trainers match was Nintendo only
meaning that the most popular Nintendo character steals the votes from
the weaker.Also it had Charizard in the picture!The Fighters match isn't
only Nintendo so they will not do so well.Plus I am sure that Fox has

Mario/Ike was on a weekend, so the vote totals would normally be better at the 12 hour mark than if the match was on a weekday. If you want a better comparison, just use yesterday's match instead. Right now, today's match is at 45264 votes, while yesterday's DK match had 40482 votes at the same time. When Link faced Luigi he only managed 72%. Obviously Waluigi drags down Luigi but as a pairing they're still around the Knuckles 1v1 equivalent unless you want to argue that Cecil/Golbez is way weaker than Cecil alone. When you SFF something of that level of strength down to 23% that shows you're worth a ton. -I made the (sho)Ryu/Ken, though I like the SF3 themed pic I made for round 2 a lot better: http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/1803/ryukenr2.png -Fox looks fine. Could be better, but it's an unwinnable match for them anyway. -I made both the Samus and Terra pictures, really glad I got that Kef(e)ka sprite into a match and I like how KP's template looks when both pictures have it. -Really worried the RE duo can win that match, melty MGS art is worse than sprites. -The entire Link/Ammy picture is... weird. Match XXXVIII: (3) Ryu/Ken vs. (2) Fox McCloud/Wolf O’Donnell Previous Round Ryu/Ken – 81.63% Ratchet/Dr. Nefarious – 18.37% Fox McCloud/Wolf O’Donnell – 60.92% Yuna/Seymour Guado – 39.08% Analysis Ryu and Ken needed a statement match to show that they can make it out of the division and they sure got it. While blowing out weak characters is decent looking strong against decent characters would be even better. While Red and Blue are scoring major SFF points which suggests that they have decent strength which is nothing new after round 1. I feel all Ryu and Ken need to do is meet our expectations. Fox and Wolf had no problems taking down Yuna and Seymour, but at the same time I would argue the weakness of the rivalry over the strength of Fox and Wolf. I’m not sure why, but I’ve been comparing Fox and Wolf with Donkey Kong and King K. Rool, maybe it’s because of their paths; weak rivalry in the first round, strong fighting rivalry in the second. There are also people that feel Donkey Kong and Fox would have a close match if we ignore the possibility of SFF and that Rool and Wolf are probably not too different in strength; however Wolf does have Brawl on his side. The main difference would be Donkey Kong and King K. Rool would probably have more nostalgic memories than Fox and Wolf. Overall I feel that anywhere in the mid-60s would place Ryu and Ken in a good position for an interesting match next round. A doubling is quite possible, though breaking 70% would be asking a little too much for them.
