I just think that if people are truly looking at rivalries instead of the characters, then Mario/Bowser should be one of the favorites. I think everyone is afraid of Link SFFing anything Nintendo, but if people vote based on rivalries instead of characters, I think Mario/Bowser has a shot. is true Nintendo on this site kills everything.Now Mario is a strong
character in the contests yeah.BUT when agains Link people that like

WHY DO I HAVE LAYTON WINNING THIS WHY Well I know why because I read somewhere that Layton sales alot of games and I noticed lots of people picked Phoenix over Freeman so I thought that since Layton sells more Layton>Phoenix And he might be strong enough to beat Kratos! Hrm |

So far Mario had the highest percentage.Who knows why. gotta say, the GoW duo isn't really impressing me here. It's difficult
to be too negative about a near-tripling, but... Professor Layton's
prime has definitely passed, and his prime wasn't good to begin with.
Plus, Don Paolo is one of the few contest entrants who could

Oh,
geez... after seeing last night's match Mario/Bowser looks like a far
bigger threat to Link than Cloud/Sephiroth. Cloud/Sephiroth couldn't
even come close to matching Link's vote totals, not to mention
the disappointing percentage of votes they received. With their
excellent pic, Cloud/Sephy had no excuses. Well, at least my alt has
Link/Ganondorf winning it all, though it's missed a point already on a

His ASV only looked good in the past because of the characters he was facing. In 2007, he faced L-Block twice and had a good ASV thanks to L-Block bleeding percentage all day. In 2008, he had a match against Heavy, Jill, and Ocelot, all of whom are bad with the ASV. Kratos also had a match against Tifa, Sephiroth, and Jill. These two were once THE monster draws on this site. This contest, they have been routinely outdrawn by the Nintendo pairings. Mario/Bowser Kirby/Meta Knight Donkey Kong/King K. Rool Pokemon Trainers Samus/Ridley Link/Ganondorf Have all outdrawn them. Basically, every Nintendo team in a night match has outdrawn Cloud/Seph with the exception of Ness and Captain Falcon (the only two losers). DK match was 13 hours long, but even that had more votes than
Cloud/Sephiroth at the 12 hour mark. The Cloud/Sephiroth match was hurt
by the fact it started 7 minutes late, but it's nothing that would have
