redrocket posted... Woah, even better than Ryu/Ken? In terms of character, of the depth of the relationship between the two, yeah. It's a more powerful rivalry, you could say. Man,
we're really expecting BlowoutFAQs now. This might be another match
that finishes a crazy 10% ahead of the Oracle average, and it's barely
generating discussion. If this had been the third match of the contest,
we'd all be crapping ourselves lol. But anyway, I'm still really unsure about tomorrow's match. I'm not expecting Tidus to challenge or anything, but his is still a legit rivalry from a hugely popular RPG. BlowoutFAQs or not, I'm still very hesitant to take the Bosses big. I think the 55% spread line is a tricky one. --- Yoblazer: http://oi52.tinypic.com/ad21i1.jpg Watch and you'll see... someday I'll be... part of your world! |

I'm not expecting Tidus to challenge or anything, but his is still a legit rivalry from a hugely popular RPG. BlowoutFAQs or not, I'm still very hesitant to take the Bosses big. I think the 55% spread line is a tricky one. Well, Fox/Wolf put 60% on Yuna/Seymour on a day match. I fully expect Tidus/Jecht to be the stronger FFX duo, but I don't know by how much. Similarly, the Bosses should run higher than Fox/Wolf. And this is also a day match. I think we could be looking at another 60-40 match. --- PSN - Aevio "I'm on a Goomba." - BlackMageJawa |
Tidus/Jecht
should be a lot stronger than Yuna's team. Sure, the jury has always
been out on whether Tidus or Yuna is the stronger FFX lead, but Jecht
kills Seymour and actually serves to make his rivalry legitimate
(whereas Seymour makes his look like a bad joke). If Bosses can 60/40 this legit FFX rivalry, than Samus could be looking at trouble earlier than most people expected. --- Yoblazer: http://oi52.tinypic.com/ad21i1.jpg Watch and you'll see... someday I'll be... part of your world! |

If Bosses can 60/40 this legit FFX rivalry, than Samus could be looking at trouble earlier than most people expected. Whether or not you or I believe Yuna/Seymour is a legitimate rivalry doesn't really matter in this contest. The fact of the matter is, we don't actually know if Fox/Wolf failed to completely blow out Yuna/Seymour because the former is weaker than we thought, or the latter is stronger than we thought. In either case, I'm sure Tidus/Jecht is stronger, but compared to a baseline of what is the actual question. That said, if the Boss duo's strength is equally higher than the pair it's being compared against, then it doesn't really matter how strong the FFX team is. Unfortunately, I've only ever played MGS2, so I don't know much about them. I'm only going by x-stats and word of mouth. --- PSN - Aevio "I'm on a Goomba." - BlackMageJawa |
