woulda taken the Kid/That guy as the weakest duo pre contest... but
seeing Samus struggle to hit 80% on them makes me wonder if they really
are the weakest. If they do end up being the weakest than Samus is in

I'm
good! I'm getting married in January, so between that and work I've
been so busy that I haven't even had much time for gaming, let alone
being on GameFAQs. I just happened to check the site the same day the
bracket opened so I filled it out in like 2 mins without putting any
thought into it! Otherwise, my internet time has shifted away from

have a feeling Chris/Wesker go huge. There's a big drop in Street
Fighter popularity between Ryu and Ken, and then another big one to
everyone else. Dan isn't one of the original 8/12/16, and Sagat is
probably one of the least popular originals. And I'm not sure how many

I'm
a Street Fighter fan, and I didn't even know it was a rivalry until I
looked it up on Street Fighter wiki after the bracket came out. I doubt

The idea that Big Boss needs to look like Solid Snake to be strong is incorrect. He's definitely garnered some strength of his own over the last few years. Would he be stronger with a MGS3 pic? The
thing with Big Boss has always been that he never had good pictures
before MGS3. It has nothing to do with needing to look like Snake. He's
gotten plenty of Portable Ops and Peace Walker pictures before -- I
know, I made them! More importantly, Big Boss has gained equal footing with Snake as far as presence and importance in MGS, so I wouldn't even worry about any kind of Snake copy stuff. He had an old man pic last year, I wanna say. --- peace comes from within |

had Peace Walker pics in both of his 2010 matches. He had an old man
pic in 2008, and he probably would've won the match against MC and Kirby

yeah, I knew it was some time. It didn't make too much difference, in
any case. Big Boss has definitely established himself separate of
pictures at this point. The only pic that might negatively affection is
MGS1 art, but there are so many options out there now that we shouldn't
ever see it. Oh, and I guess Metal Gear sprites! --- peace comes from within |

Match XV: (3) Chris Redfield/Albert Wesker vs. (6) Dan Hibiki/Sagat Previous Contest Chris Redfield – 2010 68.01% against Captain MacMillan 28.01% against Cloud Strife Albert Wesker – 2010 49.68% against Ken Dan Hibiki – N/A N/A Sagat – N/A N/A Analysis While I think almost everyone is comfortable about the winner I’m personally having problems with the percent Chris and Wesker are going to get. Resident Evil has had a mixed contest so far though the terrible performance was due to a weak rivalry meanwhile fighting pairs have done extremely well, however those pairs are among the most iconic rivalry in gaming while Dan and Sagat aren’t so much. Overall I feel Dan and Sagat are the weakest Street Fighter characters that we’ve ever had. Dan’s only poll was the vote-in for the last character battle where he embarrassed himself while Sagat’s only recent poll suggests that he’s at least a tier weaker than M. Bison and Vega. In terms of a rivalry Dan and Sagat would outdo some entrants, but I wouldn’t say it’s better than Chris and Wesker. Overall it seems Dan and Sagat are going to be fodder while Chris and Wesker, assuming he hasn’t dropped since last year are not. I still have some sneaking suspicious about the FFX dudes. Not sure why. Maybe it's just the combined fact of Final Fantasy beasting, and maybe the Boss rivalry not really being "cool" in the typical sense. It's definitely a great relationship and stuff, but not cool like X/Zero cool. "Tidus/Jecht isn't cool!" Yes it is, shut up. |

haven't even seen a modern Square rivalry have a match yet.
Bartz/Gilgamesh weren't exactly impressive, and I wouldn't say
Cecil/Golbez were that impressive either. Kefka/Terra is impressive, but
I feel like this is a combo of some RPG SFF and Vyse/Galcian just being
