Okay,
so I managed to escape the fire on this match to keep my battle streak
going. I had to start up a new streak after picking against Donkey
Kong. So I plan to not bank for the rest of this round, which I think I

no loser has managed to break 45% yet, strange contest. The
predictability in the winner is one thing but the comfort zone every
favourite has had so far isn't exactly inspiring confidence for some

I
think Bosses are going to rip Wesker to shreds. It's a legit rivalry,
but gamers' emotional attachment to MGS3 will stomp all over it.
Chris/Wesker really benefited from going up against maybe the weirdest

Boss should beat Chris and Wesker by even more than they're winning
here, I would guess. There's more likely to be people that might vote

In
this contest, probably. Wesker seems like he's taking over. After MvC3,
he could probably take Ken in that rematch (Ken was helped by the day
match anyway). And it's just the most legit rivalry in the series. Chris
is plain and only the third strongest protagonist, but everyone knows

I'm
still running a perfect in both bracket and battle.If i manage to get
on the leaderboard before Pheonix and Gordon face off i might just bank

was thinking about it, and the last two contests really spoiled us in
terms of first rounds. Historically, there have not been that many
upsets in them, 2002 aside. 2002: 4-6 (Morrigan/Aya/Alucard/Tina. Not sure if Kyo/Jill/Strider were favorites or not) 2003: 1 (Shadow) Sp2004: 2 (SMRPG/Starcraft) 2004: 1 (Tails) Sp2005: 2 (Diablo/M. Hand)* 2005: 3 (Ness/Knuckles/Pac-Man) 2006: 2 (Castlevania/Warcraft)* Fall 2006: 3 (Vincent/Luigi/Sub-Zero) 2007-2009: Around 13-16 in each contest, which is actually on par with the other contests when you take into account there are 5 different predictions going on in each match. 2010: 8 (Ammy/The Boss/Altair/Arthas/Kratos/Sub-Zero/Terra/Missingno) Fall 2010: 7 (Deus Ex/Street Fighter IV/Halo 3/Morrowind/Valkriya/Persona 3/Marvel Vs. Capcom 2) Even if you take the doubled first round into account, those are higher than average numbers for the past two years. *Actually some of the best 1v1s if you adjust for a lower number of contestants --- "Ahem! We
really dropped the ball this contest by not nominating Samus/Dark Samus
as a rivalry. It would been the perfect chance to get a new clone
