Common Stats Topic Lingo Defined*~ SFF (Same Fanbase Factor) - Same Fanbase Factor is the theory that, if two contestants share a common fanbase, the weaker of the two options will underperform in a direct matchup. For instance, Link was expected to defeat Ganon with 65% of the vote in 2004, based on their 2003 values. Instead, Link collected near 88% of the vote. This is the best example of SFF we've ever seen. However take some SFF labels with a grain of salt, as many people will slap it onto any match that doesn't make perfect sense. Extrapolated Standings - The mathematical "strength" of a contestant that's determined based on their performance relative to the rest of the field. This number is typically based on the contest entrant's loss, but adjustments are sometimes made. I'm
not banking until Phoenix/Gordon. I'm worried about tonight's match and
Fox/Yuna, but it will be hard to build a streak once southwest division
hits, so you have to make the most out of the early matches. Gotta take

2010: Vivi's stats Chaos Round 1 --- Defeated (10) Donkey Kong, 30113 [56.29%] - 23379 [43.71%] Chaos Round 2 --- Defeated (2) Altair, 41571 [55.79%] - 32944 [44.21%] From the looks of it, DK was just a little weaker than Altair. However, it's Ezio, not Altair. But is Ezio stronger than Altair now? I still won't believe it until I see it. - A new AC is coming out. Gives Ezio more strength. - I got to assume King K Rool is more popular than Pope. DK has the stronger team and some nostalgia going for him. But he's always had good name recognition and poor votals. - DK lost to Vercetti. That was a long time ago though. Bottom line - I have no clue. --- Pobody's nerfect. |

You know, I just realized that DK/Ezio is going to be 13 hours long. It would add a new page to DK's epic lore if he was leading at the end of 12 hours but lost the match. This is if we assume Altair = Ezio, which is kinda silly when you take into consideration how many games Ezio's been in. That said, Rodrigo does jack-all for Ezio in this match, while K. Rool at least brings in the nostalgia votes. Unfortunately, I have no idea who has the better night vote. I can only assume the benefit would go to Ezio if this were a day match, because I'd have more faith in the ASV going to him than to DK (since the kids aren't going to know who the hell K.
