looks like you are correct. Freshwater territorial water is given to
the states on that map, but not saltwater territorial water like Puget

A "starring in video games" contest, while technically opening the door for almost anyone (especially anyone from the past few decades), would likely only add characters who had been in good video games. Obviously Dracula would be a likely choice, seeing as how he's already made this contest. The Simpsons arcade game was pretty well-loved iirc; in fact, I believe it already made a games contest. So we could easily see Bart and/or Homer make that contest. You're absolutely right that a lot of Star Wars characters could make it, and the same goes for Batman. And while he's known for being in a legendarily bad game, I wouldn't be surprised if Superman made that contest as well (after all, a good character in a legendarily bad game is more likely to be remembered than a good character with only forgettable games). Probably would be some anime characters, too; with all of the fighting games their series produce, I'd figure Naruto and Goku could contend for that field. Yes, this is a good idea. Word it as such, that a character must have been in a video game, and the nominations will likely skew in the right direction. ...Except for the fact that nowhere in the "starred in a video game" does it say that a character must be fictional. Granted, sports games aren't terribly popular on GameFAQs, but you could conceivably get a couple of real people with some support. Mike Tyson had Punch-Out. Tecmo Bowl Bo Jackson is a legend in his own right. Then you have the pro wrestlers (although I suppose from a certain point of view those are fictional characters), or Tony Hawk and his popular series of skateboarding games... The Mana Sword posted... I still use GameFAQs any time I need to look something up! Same here; whenever I cave in for a guide, I still view it as a hint-system of sorts. I would rather figure it out a little on my own than just mimicking what I saw on YouTube. It's admittedly archaic, but it preserves some sense of solving matters for myself too compared to what's out there. KamikazePotato posted... Those number are probably wrong because if you look at the Potential Points stats, it look like this: Potential Points 100: 8 146 0: 5 735 It would mean that 13 881 battle bracket would have been entered. It makes more sense since there is only 15 552 bracket |

I'd actually feel pretty good about Link against Batman. Batman just doesn't strike me as the kind of character that can take down our site #1......as strange as this may sound, he's too niche- not in his appeal to a large demographic, but as a kind of character. He's not a true hero, which is the same problem Snake has. It just feels incongruous for anyone who's not a true hero to beat Link. --- 90s games > 00s games |

I wonder who the most popular character to not appear in a video game would be here. Someone asked this before and the answer appeared to be Hannibal Lecter, which makes sense to me. I wouldn't be shocked if Hamlet, Romeo or Juliet could do surprisingly well though. They are "good" characters that are respected and who most voters have read about. --- "Ahem! Match III: (3) Kirby/Meta Knight vs. (6) Jill Valentine/Nemesis Previous Contest Kirby – 2010 57.53% against Rikku 68.40% against GlaDOS 57.63% against Vivi 45.39% against Sonic the Hedgehog Meta Knight – 2010 34.30% against Luigi Jill Valentine – 2010 67.21% against Niko Bellic 32.48% against Samus Aran Nemesis – Villains 2005 45.34% against Revolver Ocelot Analysis This is the first match where all four characters have made an appearance in the past and the return of Nemesis which is my most wanted returnee from the villain contest. There have been some mild hype about this match mostly due to Jill rebounding in strength over the years, but it doesn’t seem likely that Jill and Nemesis have made the gap to Kirby and Meta Knight. Kirby has had a new game released recently, however with the way GameFAQs is treating the Wii nowadays that might not mean too much. One theory that people should be on the lookout for is whether Nintendo pairs appear weaker this contest, not because of what is happening in the real world, but from the format itself. It’s no mystery that Nintendo SFF matches tend to lead to the largest amounts of SFF which not only suggests that a lot of people overwhelming prefer one over the other, but it also highlights the overlap between the two characters. If Nintendo characters have more of the same fans compare to other series then the addition of a second character is going to bring in less people due to most people already supporting the first character. Based on last year I would take Kirby over Jill without too much trouble while Meta Knight should defeat Nemesis in a similar fashion. Jill and Nemesis do have the advantage of the night, but that won’t exactly cover the gap. be another 2K2, and truly unpredictable (to an extent), so why would
anyone not want it? It'd be the closest thing we'd have to a pure new
