anyway,
I've always felt like Dante's a guy that kills mid-tier guys and then
folds against real competition. he folded against Yoshi and then against
Ryu. you could include Ryu 2002 if you wanted, too. dude is just way
stronger than his games and when it comes down to a real match with a
character people like and have played the game, he can't hang. --- xyzzy |

If
Bowser got 55%, I'd give Ryu the edge in a night match. That's one
reason I'm still favoring Sora, though. All his 2010 matches were at
night. Riku had one night and one day match. The night match was against
old school FF Ramza - someone who could take advantage of that time
frame - and the day match was against Captain Falcon, one of the few

Doesn't matter now. and I don't see him getting 55'd by Bowser, even with a time disadvantage. Mostly because Dante doesn't have the huge time disadvantage Sora does. Sora would've gotten 47-48% on Bowser under his best circumstances. KH fell apart so much in 2010 that I'd take Dante over Sora. I'd probably put him at 52% or so as a guess. --- 90s games > 00s games |

Squall
would almost certainly win again, so you'd have less to worry about!
On the other hand, I see that Squall doesn't have a good out match at
the end of his contest run this year, so Dante is probably better for

Even
if you ignore everything before the past couple contests, Sora still
took a bad tumble. He got 68% on Ramza. Dante got 75% on Ramza in 4ways.
Yes, I know it's 4ways, but heck, that match might have inflated Ramza
because of the fight with Hogger. In 2010, Dante might have taken Ryu
out in a night match, something I don't expect from 2010 Sora. And that
Dante didn't even have MvC3. I think MvC3 could be a pretty big deal for
him - it IS his first piece of gaming exposure outside the actual DMC
series. As for other intangibles, even if the KH games did what they were expected to do, they still technically underperformed in GotD. I don't think many people were expecting a 57% win for TP there. Five and a half years of zilch console exposure has finally caught up with Kingdom Hearts. The games are still strong, the Sora/Riku rivalry is still good, and Dante is still a choker, so I'm still gonna side with KH. That said, the last two contests have left room for doubt. This is my single most debated match of the bracket. From: UltimaterializerX | #343 I think that the text could have used a more cohesive camo texture (assuming you were going for that) and some depth. I think the name Rivalry Rumble needs to be contrasted more from the background. I also think that it's honestly a little convoluted. There's just so much going on that the focal point becomes FemShep (who still doesn't have Saren/I haven't found Saren anywhere yet) since she's big and clear. FemShep as the focal point doesn't scream 'Rivalry' to me, and because the text doesn't stand out enough, it also pushes FemShep out a little more. I mean, FemShep is awesome but I feel that her placement there totally defeats the point of rivalries being highlighted. Also it's really hard to make some people out and I think that because it's rivalrise it calls for symmetricality, but because some people are oddly placed so if you're looking for someone's rival directly across from them in a similar position it will be tricky (like finding Liquid is way harder than finding Snake) --- ~Acting on Impulse~ Black Turtle still didn't MAJORA'S MASK |

I think that you should just take out any one character being in the
middle. In a picture that's supposed to highlight both sides to
emphasize rivalries you shouldn't have anything drawing viewer's eyes to
