old/new school gap is split into pre and post-Playstation, I'd say.
Crono is old school. Albert Wesker isn't, yet there are only like eight

line is moving over time though. I'd tentatively redraw that line at
the ps2 era. it's 11 years old now. when Cloud won the character battle,

Cloud and Wesker have continued to have games that have kept them relevant. Crash, not so much. He's pretty old school by now. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

think he relies on it enough; his hey-day was on the PS1 before it got
the classic games we know today, and it's not like any one game of his

went with Crash, too. I think he's got more actual fans than Pac-Man,
but those numbers are probably small in either case. Stickin' with the

July
should win. December is overrated, and I say that despite my bday being
in December. July graciously bestows much more time off from school and
has nicer weather and longer days (comparing the two months as an
American here). That December feeling when you look out your window at

We'll
have to wait a while to see how the Islamic countries vote, because
they wouldn't celebrate Christmas. Then we'll know for sure if December

Christmas
is a pretty secular holiday in many parts of the world; lots of
non-Christian places celebrate it, although you're right in that Islamic
countries probably celebrate it the least. The only other reason to
vote December is New Years Eve and the Winter Break, neither of which
are good enough to propel it ahead of July, which gives over four weeks

The
only X/Zero match I'd have thought about is Snake/Liquid. IMO, they
lose against Link/Cloud/Mario and trash everyone else. Even if Mega Man

Easily
Dante. The KH brigade looked like ass a year ago and an extra year of
no KH3 and everyone hating them won't do them any favors at all. Dante
at least had a godly and much-loved MVC3 appearance. Not misinformation either, I posted my guru bracket. Dead serious about picking this. Sora may have the rivalry edge and certainly has an advantage in that his games would double Dante's (or worse), but Dante is probably
the strongest of the four. Guy almost beat Yoshi back in 2006, and I
don't see him getting 55'd by Bowser, even with a time disadvantage. You
give him MvC3 - his first real gaming exposure outside his
series - and this may be the strongest Dante yet. Nearly 70% on Axel is
no freakin' joke, and he did that in a day match. Bowser only got 63% on
