think the only non-cookie picks I have are Crash/Cortex >

Why?
Because of getting completely dominated by Skyrim? Galaxy 2 is way, way
weaker than Galaxy 1, and that's because Galaxy 1 came out when the Wii
wasn't irrelevant. Being Zelda won't make Skyward Sword immune to being
on a system nobody cares about, just like how being Ocarina of Time
didn't change the fact that it's a re-release on a system nobody owned

Enough
people have the system, as proven by Brawl, and it's Zelda. There's

having the system doesn't matter if nobody cares enough to plug it back

mean, as an example as to how much nobody caring about the system
matters, unless you think Black/White dominates Diamond/Pearl, Ocarina

risk of sounding like Albion here... suppose Skyrim doesn't drop the
ball and easily wins GOTY. ME3, I think most of us would agree, is the
clear frontrunner at this point for GameFAQs GOTY 2012 (what other
contenders are there likely to be? Square and Nintendo don't look like

Looking
back, it's pretty amazing how much Mass Effect itself has improved due
to Mass Effect 2. That boost alone makes me wonder if Mass Effect 2
could threaten the upper tiers of contest strength, especially with
Western games getting stronger and stronger as Japan becomes less and

We saw what Twilight Princess did for the Wii - a ridiculous 23.74% ownership for the Wii on the launch date. For reference, the DS, PSP, Xbox 360, and PS3 all had less than 10% ownership on their launch date. we have a poll tonight about if you've finished your bracket. bacon operates PST so its not a contradiction at all. it's only the 3rd if you're EST. Its a contradiction since the brackets will supposedly close 22 hour after the contest was supposed to begin. Pac-Man
hasn't been in a 1-on-1 contest since 2005 and he didn't exactly have
