Lightning
may have finished above Yuna in the stats (I had no idea), but would
anyone here have actually taken her in a direct match? Even before this

It just depends on how many slots Bacon wants to fill up using the vote-ins, and he'll probably determine how many vote-in polls he wants to run to do so. For CBVII, it was 4-5 characters per vote-in who made it in over 6 polls. For GOTD, it was 3-4 over 4 polls. terrible showing for Lightning and weaklings like Banjo/CJ are doing
way better than they would under normal circumstances. Looks like the
voters ARE actually taking the rivalry into consideration, instead of

Adjusted stats. Adjusted based on what? Where Sonic fans want him to be? He certainly didn't look any better than 30% on Link in 2007 pre-Dojo or in 2008, so where is that number coming from. Well
the point is that she was a point or two below Lightning, at most, last
year. Yuna got, what, 43% on Zack? Call MM/Sonic a 56/44 match, and
then consider than Zack did 1 point better on MM than Lightning did on
Sonic. That would make Yuna and Lightning equals. I don't really care
what the adjusted stats say; it all depends on what the adjustments are,
and I think we all have different adjustments. --- 90s games > 00s games |

Who
knows. Little Mac isn't really the kind of character who will inspire
much Nintendo support, so maybe Banjo is taking advantage of that like
you said. Maybe it's just a case of an immediately recognizable main
character name against his main villain. I don't think Banjo needs a
picture; most voters will recognize the name and draw a mental image.
Other mains like Carl Johnson, Laharl, Yuri, or even Marcus Fenix and
