If you don't want to vote for an RPG, your options are rather limited. It is interesting to see that almost every notable third-party title on the system is an RPG. I dunno. He put a Square game in the Nintendo poll (Mario RPG). Good lord, Europe really suffered big time in yesterday's poll in the regional vote distribution. Yesterday's poll: North America - 79.87% South America - 2.58% Europe - 13.13% Asia - 2.20% Oceania - 2.11% Africa - 0.11% I knew Asia would have suffered big time in yesterday's poll, but I didn't expect Europe to also suffer badly. So far this year, Europe's overall average per poll is 15.41% (76.43% for North America and 3.06% for Asia). Yeah, MMX's run just sank. I hope we get a best-overall poll after this. The options could be... CT FF3/6 MMX LoZ:LttP SMW SMRPG (SM) ...and we would still get to see some interesting numbers out of that (when taken with a grain of salt). Mainly, I wanna see how SMRPG does. recognize the difference between the wording of the polls. Either

the poll doesn't even list the Chrono series. It lists the Chrono
Trigger series, which consists of one game and a port of that game with a

If
"Mario Kart" was "Super Mario Kart" it could have been series listed by
their first game title. I think most people will put Chrono Cross
together with Chrono Trigger. However, that's still only two games which
a lot of people don't see as a series. Radical Dreamers is technically a

Well,
if I see Final Fantasy VII listed as a series, I'll interpret that to
mean FFVII, Advent Children, Crisis Core, etc. Final Fantasy X as a
series would mean FFX and FFX-2. Most people probably do include Cross
here, but any confusion is going to hurt, and Cross doesn't help that
much. Plus 2 games isn't much of a series, as you said. --- 90s games > 00s games |
FFVII
is a totally different example because there were (obviously) games
that came before FFVII. There were no games that came before Chrono

FF7
and FF10 are weird cases since they spun off a series of their own. I'm
not sure I've ever seen someone say "FF10 series" though. Mario Kart is
a franchise but it is also part of the larger franchise of all Mario
games. The Chrono series is pretty clear cut. Chrono Trigger + Chrono
