I'd
rather call it random variation. The percent didn't drop by that much
and I do feel that at this point nobody is going to get the Wii if they

Wii
ownership probably won't ever break 70% now, since the Wii has now
become the most hated system of this generation and also with the Wii U
coming out in the future. PS3 is still experiencing a lot of growth in
its ownership at this point into its life cycle, so it has a chance to

360 ownership finished 0.28% higher this time, as a result of an effort
by North America in the last 4 hours of the poll (heavily dominated by
North America) which allowed the Xbox 360 to break its ownership from

New topic: I don't remember if we discussed it or not, but is it possible that Magus constantly underperforms whenever he receives his official artwork in a match pic, and overperforms when he draws a sprite pic? It's
a common theory to why Magus and to a lesser extent Frog performed
better against Link and Solid Snake (even if you factor Solid ****). We
then however have Crono who doesn't exactly show any increase in

Crono and Frog look fine in their concept art. It's just that Magus looks so much better in-game. Well I think his concept are looks great too. If anyone's doesn't, it's probably Crono. Not because of Toriyama's art, but because I imagine him with a happy go lucky smile than a fierce grin. |

never really got why Frog did better with a sprite. I mean, yeah sure
Magus looks more recognizable with a sprite, but Frog looks the same.
How would people get confused? I also suspect that some of the drop off in Crono and Magus's popularity comes from Dragon Ball Z dropping off in popularity. Laugh all you want, but they seem to have dropped off by a lot more since 04/05 than Frog and the game itself have. Magus looked to be on a tier above Frog back in 2005, but now Frog looks like he might be as popular as Magus. What happened? 2005 Crono/Magus would probably 60/40 their current selves, and while Frog and the game itself have obviously dropped off, the results would not be that extreme, at least not IMO. --- "Ahem! Solid
**** can only do so much. Sure Solid Snake was having a bad year too,

Bandwagoning
after having two of the closest matches we've ever seen would go a long
way toward explaining that (especially considering Frog was an underdog
to win both matches in the eyes of the casuals), I think. Frog only had

Not remotely close. They might not even win, and they're almost

LA noire is far more niche than RDR and GTA. The fact that LA noire has sold over a million is an achievement in itself. Poor MvC3, gets the shaft totally from this poll. Deserves it for being such unfinished product. I'm not so sure if we can say that the Wii is so hated. Actually Wii is the most hated console of ALL TIME. I work in Retail and i've never seen so much hate for a single console ever. this is a meh performance by Portal 2, and shows why Ocarina of Time
doesn't need to ever be in another contest. It's getting 10+% despite

Portal
2's still beating Pokemon worse than it did in their last poll, plus we
don't know how "None of the Above" would have affected it here: http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=4330 Besides that, isn't Pokemon's fanbase supposed to be one of the toughest to scathe?
