If Team MGS can't take the lead and build on it overnight, KH:BbS should run away with this once the sun rises. It leading now is already impressive considering there are four Square-games (plus another RPG) in the poll and the next two options are two games to KH:BbS's one.

It's currently beating CC:FF7 5% worse than FF12 and Dissidia/012 1% worse than CoD:MW2 beat just Dissidia, for the record.

To be fair, Liberty City Stories is already on the PS2.
I'm sure demand for another console version is pretty low.

It's too early to know for sure how Europe will affect the night vote, but the current results in Europe would suggest that MGS will gain a lot of ground on KH overnight and overtake it as well.

Crisis Core's good night vote was a combined effort by Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

And MGS barely has the lead right now, which isn't enough to hold off that KH ASV.

The MGS-games are still remaining competitive despite past trends; they're just seventy votes down over an hour into the ASV (though how many schools are still open?). If KH:BbS can't do anything else while it's daylight, the MGS-games may still pull this off...though it'd hardly be a fair victory.


I assumed MGS:PW was bigger here than it really was, I guess. This should have shown me the light sooner...

Peace Walker didn't sell too well outside of Japan. It went largely unnoticed, despite being developed by Kojima. There's also some past history on the PSP that could have given people the wrong impression - Portable Ops wasn't too good of a game. Most people also probably aren't aware PW was originally called MGS5!

I would assume most schools would start closing after Memorial Day, which will occur next Monday. I did not see any signs of a diluted ASV when I tracked poll updates for a poll that happened 2 days ago.

Back in the BGE 2009 contest, there was a diluted ASV in the final match and the bonus match (which occured on June 8th and 9th).

I can't. In a bracket featuring OoT, it may lose to Twilight Princess, although I wouldn't bet on it. It's very hard to picture it beating LttP, however.

There's nothing else. Maybe Adventure of Link could be a fun wildcard if it gets in an era-less bracket and draws something like CoD, but Zelda already has seven really strong reps.

I think the Great Deku Tree could do deceptively well (it's the first level to the greatest game ever AND has joke-potential), but I don't care about how most other characters from the series aside from Epona can do. Should she do well, I'll be more interested in seeing more characters from the series...but just from a contest-perspective, not personally.
