Well recently they have been trying to push that kind of stuff, I don't think it'll have the same magic for at least another decade or so.

I hope not. As the marquee symbol of commercialization, on top of being a huge insult to christians, the world is a better place without the fat guy in red. Having said that, I may just vote for him just to see Link's first legitimate loss in many years.

Paper Mario looks so good this year that if you hold Paper Mario and Prime constant, Prime gets about 57% on MGS3. Again, very fishy. I personally believe that KH was laying down the SFF hammer on Paper Mario last year, and that Prime (as well as some other Nintendo games, such as Galaxy, Majora's Mask, and maybe Paper Mario) has gotten a random boost out of nowhere. But that shouldn't be enough to do about 18% better on the same game, regardless of KH dropping and all.

Did anyone like my idea for next contest? Create a tournament of champions and pull out Link, Sephiroth, Cloud, Mario, Samus, Snake, and L-Block (just to get the ToC bracket up to 8). That way there will actually be strong debated matches at the end and we could have up to 6 legitimate characters that could win, other than the "could this be the year that Mario or Cloud beats Link?" we usually get.
