Majora extends the lead by 46 to 225. It loses a percent and a half though. I think Brawl's probably going to try to make a match of this, but MM is the favorite. --- Nominate Crono so he can get a higher seed and avoid being fed to Clinkeroth early in the contest. |

Majora
needs to keep building as much as it can before Europe and Asia start
having an effect on this match. They'll trend towards Brawl. And I get knocked down the leader board because of MM > FFX, and i'll be off completely if MM > Brawl. If Majora wins here, we really could argue that FFX could've beat Brawl. The Majora that FFX and Brawl are facing is not the same animal from earlier rounds IMO, and I think most of us would agree. I don't think MM had any bandwagon really against FFX- I thought MM = FFX was very consistent with what those 2 games showed us in the first 5 rounds. This match, it may be stronger, judging by the early vote. --- Nominate Crono so he can get a higher seed and avoid being fed to Clinkeroth early in the contest. |

I legitimately feel bad for you, and discovering your being an awesome dude was one of my favorite things about this contest. Neither of these games are GotD material. Majora's Mask is an OoT hernia, and never ever
comes up in "best game ever" discussions. Unless you think every
potential base game ever came before 2000, it really has no place

MM picks up another 68 votes to extend to 293. Next update was the first one Melee lost. I definitely am inclined to believe MM had serious momentum against FFX. That did not seem like the same Majora to me. Well, I've thought FFX was overrated (and that the Smash games were too) for a long time. But this year, FFX had only 1 impressive match, the match against RE4. MM was equal or more impressive in every round before that to me, and even in round 5, MM still went higher on MGS3 than FFX went on RE4- and these games were equals last year. The contest did not make an MGS3 drop very clear to me; I think it was mostly MGS4's problem. --- Nominate Crono so he can get a higher seed and avoid being fed to Clinkeroth early in the contest. |
